Startup proceedure:
  1. Master power on (Overhead panel center)
  2. Avionics on
  3. Start engine 1 and/or 2 (Center, top touchscreen panel)
    Optional;
  4. Set interior and exterior lighting as required, internal light options: White, red & green.
  5. Select MFD modes
  6. Disengage brakes (1) to taxi
  7. Go for broke
Instructions and tips:
  • Fly primarily single engine for fuel conservation and honestly, it's more than enough power. Two engines may be necessary for heavy load lifting.
  • To get off SAR hoist harness in flight, if not inherently obvious; Grab exterior handles interchangeably and then leave harness to navigate inside.
  • Basic emergency beacon locator available through MFD Page 2
  • Emergency locator transmitter in cockpit (Flares from hoist operator station), aircraft can be a suitable rescue target.
  • Theres technically no protection against lightning (you cant just flip a switch back) fly really high so the aircraft has time to recover itself from a strike (about 350-400m) or below 120m altitude during thunder storms. Or you know, live a little.
  • Autopilot will reset on control input, even residual. It doesn't like to be told to hold altitude at high velocities. You may have to set, reset it and verify its for example holding altitude.

Probably won't work in multiplayer considering all the logic and digital stuff, might on a small server.

Kindly report any bugs you might find.

Again, you can stow rotorblades by getting up to them and clicking E or Q. Works on any stormworks helicopter rotor.
