The Description:
After much burnout and many hours spent staring vacantly at menus, I present to you: Apocalypse Aftermath! This config is my fan project based on the one linked up top. I gave the raiders a much more menacing arsenal and cooler outfits. The Protectors are somewhat lacking in a distinct theme as of now. I may ask around on the discord for feedback. This mod was tested on Hard difficulty. Raider favoritism may be present.

The Suggestions:

• Backup your mods or list whatever mods you already had before installing for easier uninstallation.
  
• I don't know how the mod performs in EA25. But if you still play that version, I would recommend disabling the "keep player weapons" option from the possession mod.
  
• Play on Hard difficulty.
  
• If you want to take screenshots, you should disable the bandage pouch and crosshair mutators.
  
• The combat shotgun is an absurdly powerful weapon, and can completely change the tide of the game. Don't use it.
  
• The most important of all: Enjoy!

The Lore:
The raiders are a vicious, intelligent, and especially crafty group who will use all at their disposal to conquer every settlement they discover. Raiders are trained from adolescence to make and use weapons from any scraps they find throughout the wastes. They are not issued loadouts, instead they are required to make their own weapons, hence the variance in weapon quality. They specialize in long range weaponry, and will thrive in long range environments like the open wasteland. They are also known to go on spec ops raids under the cover of darkness to destabilize the Protectors.

The Protectors are a large, angry, no-nonsense group of settlers and peacekeepers who set out to destroy the raiders. They send scout groups at night to search for raider encampments and plunder what little supplies remain throughout the wastes. Their loadouts are given based on their skill and courage in combat. They have also established charities and humanitarian efforts outside of combat. They specialize in vehicles and assault weaponry, and will thrive in short-medium range environments such as ruined cities or defensive scenarios.
