Description
Makes the upgrades more useful. Reduces all upgrade times for every race from 70 seconds to 60 seconds, mostly due to the mandatory 90-120 second (something in there, never timed it) upgrade at the main base HQ. This effectively cuts down 60 seconds of upgrade time for all the races while in game. Less waiting, more winning (or dying miserably)

Infantry (that are not heavy, as they should not benefit from health upgrades to preserve the game "balance")

Elites are effected by this change. I found it kind of silly how most regular units in the game eventually out tiered elites in the mid game, or sometimes even after a single upgrade (depending on the unit). With this change. this allows elites to be useful in the later stages of the game when their abilities are not available.

Reason for changes;
I felt that with max upgrades, infantry health and damage was at a fine number, just the time to kill was sort of horrible.

At tier 0 (no upgrades) a space marine tactical squad fighting boyz (melee) would be fighting for nearly 20 (18-26 depending on a few factors) seconds. Sure you can talk about how "well they could be missing" or "they should have a high time to kill" but in reality, that's not what the universe is like. There are many "canon" accounts stating just standard bolters firing 1-3 rounds and ripping through ork boyz with ease. While this mod isn't here to recreate that, it is here to get closer to that.

If you look at just the upgrade benefits for the game, at tier 3, the difference between max health and max damage for all infantry, all races, is 9%. Meaning that your damage output is roughly 9% greater at maxing out for upgrades. The time to kill factor coming into that rule of 20 seconds at tier 0, we're looking at basically 2 seconds off for becoming "the ultimate form" of each race.

I know what you're thinking. "But this upgrade would only take 1 more second off, making it 3 seconds faster!" In the late game, there are different units that you can use that are not tier 0 (units you can build at the start of the game) that deal more damage. Units like the heavy bolter devastator, whom get a nice and crisp 75% damage increase when maxxed out for damage upgrades for this mod, instead of a pitiful 45%.

Now if we use some more math for that, (45/75) we have a difference of .4, or, 40. This means that units die in 60% of the time to heavy bolter devastators, which really adds to their name.

Also the elite upgrades are cool lol

That's because they are coded in the game as more than just one. Heavy infantry are units that have setup times and do not benefit health upgrades.

The health scaling is also much much higher, +60% of their base HP.

When I was making the mod, I noticed that some Eldar Infantry is also tagged as a vehicle. The only values I changed were the values for upgrades in the races (which was about 22 lines of code) Everything and anything else you experience is something I have no changed.

I am also not making the mod anymore and have 0 interest playing the game. It was fun while it lasted but comp stomping gets bored after a certain amount of time.

Hi, i've noticed that with your mod units like Nobz and all heavy infantry of eldar benefit both to veichle and infantry upgrade, effectively double their bonus in health and damage. Nobz, for example, with all upgrade reach 6600HP.
