Loot rate for Single Player (and other things)
By GreenEyedBeast
It still needs research on what each parameter does, but basic things seems to work fine, like the cost of fame points for each kind of respawn.

Not implemented, but actually no.
Even though developers didn't implement a way in-game to tweak your single player gameplay (loot rate, zombie spawn rates, etc), you can do it by simply editing one configuration file.
Editting the ini file
Important: I strongly recommend you to make a backup of any files you wish to edit before starting. In this guide we will be messing around with the file "ServerSettings.ini". Save a copy somewhere safe and then proceed.

In this file, many aspects (if not all) can be tweaked to your desire: Puppet spawn, maximum number of puppets, probability of puppets spawning inside/outside buildings, max animals in the world, etc.

The file is located under:
C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Local\SCUM\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

Opening it with a text editor will show a bunch of parameters. If you wish to increase loot spawn rates, go to [SCUM.ItemSpawning] and find the "SpawnerProbabilityMultiplier" paramater. The default value for this is 1. Do the same with "ExamineSpawnerProbabilityMultiplier".
I'm still experimenting with it, putting them at 10 makes items spawn in lootable places way more often than default values. Changing the cost of fame points required to respawn seems to work as well, confirmed by testing.

There's other parameters under SCUM.ItemSpawning, but I don't know exactly what they do:
ExamineSpawnerProbabilityMultiplier
ExamineSpawnerExpirationTimeMultiplier
SpawnerGroupsExpirationTimeInMinutesMultiplier

If someone knows more about this and wants to help making this guide more detailed, I will gladly add any information other players provide.
Final thoughts
I hope the information in this guide is useful for someone. There's stuff to discover yet, I found out about this configuration file hours ago and started messing with it.

Disclaimer: Even though it shouldn't cause any trouble to edit this file, I do not take responsibility for any malfunction to your game and/or your system.

If you mean that your game is installed in another drive, it doesn't matter.
Save files, configs and other persistent, smaller data, are stored in the default OS AppData folder.

Try looking for it in
C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Local\SCUM\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

"SpawnerProbabilityMultiplier" and "ExamineSpawnerProbabilityMultiplier" I set the parameters on both at 99, and I get items in every container that I search

The Examine Spawner Probability Multiplier is like searching for corn and grubs The Expiration Time Multiplier is how long it takes for more loot to spawn in said items and the group is the amount found in a single item I am Pretty sure if not it is the loose item laying around but pretty sure its the first one

I can't find "appdata" in the user folder.

It's not in the game's directory. The correct path is provided in the guide.

The file is located under:
C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Local\SCUM\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

If you can not find the file, it may be hidden, unhide files when you get to user name folder. then you should be able to find AppData and so forth.
