The Medallion of Chaqua (version 1.1.2) (Single-player) (Updated for the S&F)

Description
Description:
The Medallion of Chaqua is a campaign mod for the Lizardmen that provides upgrades to military units as the player gains more settlements. There are 5 levels to the medallion, with the first level selected for the player based on which Lizardmen faction they are using. Each subsequent level then allows the player to select the upgrades to activate based on a set of six options represented by the Lizardmen legendary lords.

Why not check me out on Youtube and Twitch[www.twitch.tv] for more Warhammer content.

Medallion levels are unlocked when the player reaches 4, 8, 16 and 32 settlements.

There are also three custom units that can be recruited from the higher tier buildings:
- Skink Cohort (Poison Bombardiers)
- Medalion Guard
- Razordon Belchers (acidic vomit stream)

Version 1.1.0
Now includes upgrade path for Oxyotl which gives bonuses to Chameleons, Troglodons and Coatls.

Requirements:
- References the Lizardmen dlcs so it is recommended you have those too.
- Requires the UI Modding Framework (used for the medallion screen). Thanks to Vanishoxyact for his work on this handy framework.

Compatibility:
- No known issues.

Future Updates:
- This mod is really a proof of concept at this stage so I am sure there will be additional features added down the road. Possibly some mechanics for individual legendary lords worked into this framework, and perhaps changing the custom units to regiments of renown.

Mods:
Please check out my other mods on the workshop
Armoury of Torgovann (Unit Upgrade for Wood Elves)
Blessings of the Old Ones (Unit Upgrade for Lizardmen)
Chieftain of the Deep Warrens

@pyromaniac777 Thanks for the offer. I have stepped away from modding for some time now, but I would like to get back into it once I'm in the right frame of mind.

The Medallion of Chaqua as it stands won't be ported, I have designs that I created some time back for a complete rework.

I'd be happy to help you port this to WH3, I just need some guidance. Perhaps there is some grunt work that could speed up the process? All I really know how to do is alter tables but I'd love to help

For Those whos don't know which tech tree benefit these units

Skink Cohort (Poison Bombardiers) - Skink Tech tree [isn't it obvious?]
Medalion Guard - Temple Guard Tech tree
Razordon Belchers (acidic vomit stream) - Ancient Salamander

Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the issue when a new version is released for Warhammer 3 next year.

@greyTiger Medallion might not be applying correctly to blessed units. At least tier 1 for Tehenhauin didn't apply to Blessed Chameleon Skinks. Might be worth a quick check vs all blessed units. Nice work and mod.

I retract my statement because I was missing an important part to load the mods. CA mod loader apparently is a pos but I swore it loaded mods for me before. My apologies! :steamsad:

Changing the way the game functions can be difficult through lua scripts. I'm afraid most of my mods come down to stat boosts with a coat or two of paint at the moment. Hopefully I can find ways to expand upon things in game three.

I disagree with adding negatives; I also disagree with adding positives. I'd rather it actually change the way you use units - more like adding versatility. The game honestly has way too many +stat buffs already.

This mod is neat, but it mostly just feels like a reskinned tech tree. I don't think that's bad, it just doesn't do anything very interesting that lord/hero/tech tree buffs dont already do.
