Welcome to my (unfinished) recreation of Safaripark Beekse Bergen, a Dutch zoo located in Hilvarenbeek.
Since the start of January 2020, I have been working on recreating the zoo as faithfully as I can and I’ve decided to share my progress so far so people could take a look around and hopefully get inspired a bit!
The zoo is about 90% finished, the walking route and all of its habitats are finished! Some areas are still subject to change in the future, but there is plenty to explore!

I'm constantly adding to the zoo, be sure to check out the change notes tab to see what's new!

Custom Content!
This zoo features a few billboards as well as a couple of "new species" mods. You don't have to download them to enjoy the zoo, but they are a nice addition.
Billboard content:
You can download the billboard files here.[drive.google.com]
To install them, just download either files and drop them into "C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Frontier Developments\Planet Zoo\UserMedia". Be sure not to change the file name as it won't show up on the billboard that way.

The folder "Komt een aap bij de dokter billboard" contains a high res version (204MB) as well as a compressed version (26MB) of a video file which plays in the entrance reception. The compressed version looks fine, while being a lot less taxing on your game. You can choose yourself which one you add.

New Species mods:

Compare for yourself!
If you are unfamiliar with the real life zoo and would like to see how my creation compares, I’ve got you covered! I’ve created a photo album of a selection of my (7000+) reference photos that guides you through the zoo. It also features some bits of texts explaining how to walk.. I hope you don’t get lost haha.

Don't get lost (in translation)!
To help all you people unfamiliar with the zoo, and non-Dutch speaking people, I translated the Zoo map into English, and provided some translations to the words found on some of the signs in the zoo! Hope it helps!

Can't run it?
If you have running or opening the zoo, you can try the "light" versions of the zoo, which has no animals, guests and staff, making it much less taxing on your computer. Hopefully that will at least allow you to explore the zoo a bit!

Credits
Just one more thing, throughout buildings the zoo I have used some wonderful blueprints from the steam workshop! It would be wrong to not give credit where credit is due so I have created a collection of all the files I’ve used as well as a google docs document[docs.google.com] listing them all individually.

Wat mooi! Vlak voor de eerste lockdown in 2020 ben ik er nog geweest, hoe anders zag de wereld er toen uit. Leuk om het thuis nu weer te kunnen bezoeken. Veel plezier en succes met je project!

@babafire je moet bij zoos kijken en dan naar downloads gaan dan moet je ff wachten en dan zie je hem staan, je kan er ook in bouwen alleen als je niet alle dlc's hebt slaat hij het niet op als je wegklikt
