Reiko Nagase (永瀬麗子) is a virtual idol in Ridge Racer series of racing video games who is its most prominent race queen. Reiko has first appeared in Rave Racer in 1995, before her official introduction in Rage Racer in 1996.

Ridge Racer V

Kohta Takahashi served as the sound director and lead composer of Ridge Racer V, who was previously involved in R4: Ridge Racer Type 4. To create an "exciting new experience", he brought in Japanese electronic music duo Boom Boom Satellites and German DJ Mijk van Dijk, along with Namco composers Nobuyoshi Sano, Yuu Miyake, and Yoshinori Kawamoto, to contribute music to the game. This resulted in the game having a diverse soundtrack, including genres such as trance, death metal and breakbeat

Ai Fukami is the race queen featured only in Ridge Racer V to replace Reiko Nagase. However, she was less popular than Reiko, and thus Reiko returned to Ridge Racer after an online poll.
According to the manual, she was born somewhere in Kanagawa on December 12th, 1979. She works as a model, and aspires to be an automotive writer. At 20 years old, she debuts at a younger age than Reiko does back in Rage Racer.
