~modのファイルがなくそのままプレイしたんですけど、日本語化になっていませんでした。
That's why I thought of having it as two versions: 3D English text or 2D Japanese text. And yeah, it does increase the file size, so the 2D text version would therefore be larger than the 3D text version.
Thanks for the great suggestion!
But I'm not going to upgrade the mod anymore for the following reasons:
- I've tested your mod and it breaks the Japanese grammar, I may have to rework the whole thing.
- I'd prefer English voices if possible, but putting the voice data into the mod would make the file size very large.
- Honestly, I think the 2D text is ... not cool.

(but as metioned, I can't make it play the cutscenes in English, but all other voices are English)
- Copy the "English(US)" folder from "Falcon\Content\WwiseAudio\Windows" and rename it "ar", to override the Arabic voices with English
- Remove Arabic from the list of MP4-mappings, so when set to Arabic, it will still default to English. The file is "Falcon\Config\Localization\MP4TrackMappings.ini", and to ensure the rest of the languages don't get shuffled, just change "ar" to "xx" or something, in both places, to make it not find the language.
(For some reason, editing the MP4-mappings did not work and the voices are still playing in Arabic, but the subtitles are still Japanese; this shouldn't be a problem if the Japanese players don't understand English anyway)
- Arabic does not use 3D text and instead flat text
This means that you can translate "The adventure continues" as well as level names to Japanese, since it's now rendered in the regular font. It might not look as nice as the 3D text, but it's the best you can do.
Then you can let the users choose; English option for English 3D text, or Arabic option for Japanese 2D text. Alternatively don't override English to let the user switch back to English without removing the mod.
While Arabic is right-to-left instead of left-to-right like English; that is nothing the game takes into consideration anyway, and everything appears left-to-right as I'm testing this.
