Description
Why are garrison mages terrible? They're standing in defence of their homes, but they only learned 1 spell!

This mod makes it so that if you build the higher levels of a spellcaster building, the garrison mage learns more spells. They also get their Lore's passive buffs, because magic is fun!

Magical landmarks, such as the Tower of Hoeth, will provide the most powerful spells, making their magical defenders appropriately mighty. Look out for this in a buildings effects.

It also replaces some redundant garrison spellcasters. The Lizardmen's second Lore of Beasts Skink Priest is switched for a Heavens priest, Drycha’s second Beasts Branchwraith is replaced by a Shadows Branchwraith, Altdorf’s Colleges get a Light Wizard instead of a Fire Wizard, and the Tower of Hoeth gets a High Mage instead of one unit of Swordsmasters for the sake of variety.

FAQ
1) What will happen if I subscribe or unsub this mod mid-campaign?
This mod should be fully compatible - you can turn it off or on at any time and the change will kick in from the end of the turn with no ill-effects.

2) Do I need any DLCs for this?
No

3) What is the mod compatible with?
It should be compatible with everything. Particularly with my mod Tailored Faction Garrisons - I've built in an extra bit so that they work well together.

This mod is bundled into Reporting For Duty so if you use that mod, you don't need to use this one as well.

I'd like to recreate it at some point, but I haven't had the time or the energy to get into it. It may happen some day though.

I don't know if you'll get the full effects of the mod, because SFO might play around with garrisons a bit, but there wouldn't be any clashes I don't think
