German Railways [SCRIPTED]

Description
Designed by John Bohrer and Published by Queen Games in 2011.
For 3-5 players in around 60 minutes.

NOTE: BGG User Vnnil's redesign

Following Description taken from Boardgamegeek: [boardgamegeek.com]

Preußische Ostbahn is the second game in Winsome's Historic Railroads System and was initially released at SPIEL '08 and was reprinted in January 2010. Queen Games' German Railways is the first game in their Iron Horse collection.

Harry Wu's Preußische Ostbahn builds upon the system established in Chicago Express, and takes the game series to Germany, 1840-1870. Preußische Ostbahn (Prussian Eastern Railroad in English) introduces an innovative new Player Order mechanism to the system.
In addition, each Railroad now has a special characteristic, based upon its history:
Preußische Ostbahn - May build up to 4 track; 20 black track; Königsberg start.
Niederschlesische - No City Penalty; 17 brown track; Breslau start.
Sächsische - May build up to 2 track; 11 orange track; Leipzig start.
Bayerische - Track cost -1 per hex; 16 blue track; München start.
Main-Weser - Double one City Income; 14 yellow track; Kassel start.
Badische - One free rural track/build; 15 red track; Mannheim start.
Köln-Mindener - $5 maximum expediture/build; 12 purple track; Essen start.
Berlin-Hamburger - Must connect both to receive Dividends; 13 green track; Wittenberge start.
Preußische Ostbahn is a German Family Game.

Now the payout works great, thank you!

About the player colors: according to the rulebook there is no orange player, but a green, red, yello, blue, and white one. There is also a white player income marker in the mod but no orange one.

@Mad Bot,

Odd maybe Steam hasn't downloaded the updated mod yet, its working on my end. And there's no white player color in the mod, just Blue, Red, Yellow, Green and Orange. You can see those in the screenshots.

In regards to the payouts, yeah that's a big oversight on my end, I didn't configure the script correctly. But its been updated to payout correctly Enjoy!

Also, the log calls the white player the "orange player" - another confusing thing.

The payout for the purple company still doesn't do anything, by the way. You said you fixed it? Maybe it has something to do with the color confusion? The log says "Transferred X from Bank to White Shares", but there are no white shares in this game.

Cool that you are still here to fix things, thanks for the fast reaction! Another thing I find confusing is the way the script pays dividends. If a Company has an income of 4 and two players each have a share each of that Company, both players should get 4 bucks dividends. However, if I enter "4" in the Company counter and press "Payout", the script pays each player 2 bucks. Why is that? I mean, one can work around that by checking how many shares of a company are owned by players and then multiplying the income by that number (i.e. in my example enter "8" instead of "4"), but it would be much easier if the script just payed the entered income value to each shareholder. :steamhappy:

@Mad Bot

Thanks for letting me know, it's been fixed! But it's almost a year on the workshop and you're the first person to alert me lol.

Thank you for this mod. The payout function for the purple company doesn't work, though.
