Did you have Fall of the Samurai installed for over a year, or in the past? Every since the implementation of the new mod manager in May last year, the game has had issues with mod management. If you have had the game installed since then, I recommend going \AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\scripts and there deleting the user.script.
If you are having crashes despite never having installed Fall of the Samurai, it might be that you have another mod for any of the campaigns that changes a file that is also changed in my mod. In that case, turning off other mods should fix it.
Excellent work.
The balances made are done to the end date, the victory conditions, starting treasuries,
Other changes, like slower modernization and realm divide have to be changed with the separate mods that I made. Or other, similar mods, that you can find on the workshop :)
About the bug, I'm not sure what might be causing that. I don't recall ever experiencing that. That said, the last update that was made to Shogun about a year ago, changed some things for me in the game. For example, my battle mini-map has darker colors to it... So it might've been the result of that update... In any case, it's not something I tinkered with, so I don't dare say it's because of my mod or any other. Can't 100% say it isn't my mod, but I'm fairly certain at least. But in any case, thank you for posting about it in case other people experience the same issue.
I normally play long game and have restarted/quit or succeeded within the time frame
The main reason for wanting more years is so children can age and have an impact on the game, possibly even having grandkids etc. More turns per year does not give this option. I am using a mod to age children sooner and to have more kids etc. so I can circumvent this restriction of extending end date.
I don't think your end date is really an issue, just was trying to give an extension to allow more options.
