Description
Summary
Here's a mod that adds 111 new domains to the campaign of FotS.
It's completely vanilla, so no gameplay changes were made. For years I've wanted an expanded campaign for FotS without any significant overhaul to the gameplay. Nobody ever seemed to make one, so I decided to make one myself.

Features
- Added 111 historical domains that were in existence in the early 1860s.
- Extended the campaign to the late 1880s.
- Increased the amount of regions that need to be owned and that need to be loyal on all campaign settings. The increase is similar in percentage to the increase in regions.
- Increased the starting treasury for all factions, since there are so many more regions to invest in.
- Updated the roads and trade routes between these regions. (Though the roads are not visually updated, the movement point bonuses they have, do apply. Trade routes run over the accurate locations of the roads.)
- The ownership of those domains is given to the clans in command of the respective prefectures.
- Fertility rates are kept the same to the fertility of the original prefecture.
- Almost all of the special resources and ports are kept in the region of the capital to make those domains more profitable. Some ports, however, had to be moved.
- Compatible with most mods that don't adjust the start_pos file.

On a side note: The process of adding cosmetic borders and roads is extremely laborious, as much as I'd love to add them, I simply don't have the time to do so. I might do so in the future, but it won't be anywhere in the near future since there are other mods I'd like to create.

For further balancing, I recommend subscribing to my other mods:
For slower modernization (clan development) take a look at my "Clan Development Rebalance" mod.
For a later realm divide, subscribe to my "Clan Prestige Rebalance" mod.

(On a final note, a big thank you to Uanime5 for a detailed description on how to split regions. And another thank you to Izzi for providing some support. https://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?600630-How-to-split-a-region)

Hi Dik59,

Did you have Fall of the Samurai installed for over a year, or in the past? Every since the implementation of the new mod manager in May last year, the game has had issues with mod management. If you have had the game installed since then, I recommend going \AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\scripts and there deleting the user.script.

If you are having crashes despite never having installed Fall of the Samurai, it might be that you have another mod for any of the campaigns that changes a file that is also changed in my mod. In that case, turning off other mods should fix it. :KneelingBow:

It will be in my updated version. Many factions will be added to rule their rightful domains. Thanks for the input Evangelos :KneelingBow:

Suo domain must given to Choshu . Its more historical correct.
Excellent work.

Hi Yocho! Cool that you tried it, I'm glad you're enjoying it, thanks :KneelingBow:

The balances made are done to the end date, the victory conditions, starting treasuries,

Other changes, like slower modernization and realm divide have to be changed with the separate mods that I made. Or other, similar mods, that you can find on the workshop :)

About the bug, I'm not sure what might be causing that. I don't recall ever experiencing that. That said, the last update that was made to Shogun about a year ago, changed some things for me in the game. For example, my battle mini-map has darker colors to it... So it might've been the result of that update... In any case, it's not something I tinkered with, so I don't dare say it's because of my mod or any other. Can't 100% say it isn't my mod, but I'm fairly certain at least. But in any case, thank you for posting about it in case other people experience the same issue.

Hi so I finally tested this mod and it's really great, makes the campaign aspect even better. But while playing I think I noticed a sort of "bug", not sure if it's because of your mod or another (I run quite a few alongside this) but clans changing allegiance don't give a notification anymore. Also I was wondering what this "rebalanced" versions adds compared to the default versions, does it include the slower modernization and realm divide by default or change other aspects ?

Been many years since I hit the end date so not sure lol.
I normally play long game and have restarted/quit or succeeded within the time frame

I see, that makes a lot of sense! The current version I am working on will extend the game all the way until 1900. But you can still continue playing after the end date, right? The end date is only for the victory conditions :KneelingBow:

Thanks for the quick reply.

The main reason for wanting more years is so children can age and have an impact on the game, possibly even having grandkids etc. More turns per year does not give this option. I am using a mod to age children sooner and to have more kids etc. so I can circumvent this restriction of extending end date.

I don't think your end date is really an issue, just was trying to give an extension to allow more options.
