How to Sell Bobby Jet AFTER Completing "Hole in the Wall"

Bobby de Luca of Vault 81 will buy your jet for a whopping 75 caps each. You can get loads of Jet as a reward for the quest "Diamond City Blues" and it is very inexpensive to craft. However, this opportunity can be very easy to miss.

Assuming you donate/sell blood to Dr. Forsythe, which most players will do when they first enter the vault, the next time you enter the vault the quest will "begin", although the quest won't show up until you actually talk to Dr. Forsythe. Once you enter the vault you will be unable to sell Jet to Bobby during or after the quest.

While you could just opt not to donate blood, this would mean you won't be able to recruit Curie as a companion or get the Medicine Bobblehead. The method in this quick guide allows you to get the best of both worlds.

Step One

Simply complete "Hole in the Wall" as you normally would.

I would recommend saving often and then reloading if you ever get bitten by one of the mole rats as they give you a permanent debuff that decreases your maximum health by 10.

Step Two

Open console using the grave key, which is the key at the top left of your keyboard with the ~ symbol on it.

Copy/Paste or just type the following line into the console:

ResetQuest 00022a0a

While "ResetQuest" might look suspicious, all it will do in this case is allow you to sell Jet to Bobby. You will still be able to have Curie as a companion, you will keep the Medicine Bobblehead, Austin will still be fine, you will still be able to pick stuff up in the vault without it counting as stealing, the residents of the vault will still talk about how thankful they are, and the quest will even remain on the list of completed quests in your Pip-Boy.

this worked but then bugs started popping up in the game that have never happened before. For example. my guns started randomly showing a different (higher0 amount of strength but when you click on it, it goes back to normal.
