Re-textures doesn't require any Lua codding so, i can't help you with that

Eh, im sorry but there's a difference between a re-texture and adding new items or functionalities. The best i can tell you is to check on googles for some Tutorials for that

Ravensgift you actually have mods that make your character speaks when you hit and kill zombies, you should try it out ! As for the head gib, yeah that would be cool feature

neededlotus5, i mean it's actually possible to do that, but that would meant all hit from most weapons will have the "ting" sound when you hit a zombie

imagine when hitting a zombie and u hit it's head it would say "home strike" and fly it's zombie head away.
