Description
🌳 Two-way Road with Parking Spaces and Protected Bike Lane 🚴

This is a two-way road with parking spaces and protected bike lanes.

🏘️ It's 16m wide, so you can easily upgrade existing roads without destroying your buildings. It has both parking spaces and a bike lane so you don't have to decide between the two.

🎨 This version has a detailed texture: all continuous and discontinuous white lines are sharper and brighter than vanilla roads; parking spaces are delimited by a continuous white line; bus stop areas are red. All 4 vertical curbs (on the median and on the side of the pavements) are textured too.

🌳 It has a tree-lined median to reduce noise level and keep your citizens happy. The median curb matches the vanilla two-way road with trees. It is _a-mapped (i.e. the type of grass is whatever texture is underneath). To delete or change the the type of tree, you can use Network Skins 2.

🚌 It supports bus stops on both sides of the road. If the bus stop is on the bike lane side, the bike lane will slightly swing to allow the median to accommodate the bus stop. On the parking side, the bus will invade the parking space like in other vanilla roads.

🔛 This is actually an asymmetrical road and you can switch the side of the bike lane by right-clicking on the road as you would on a one-way road. For this reason, you need Mass Transit to be able to use this road. A textured switch-lane is provided on ground level. A one-way version is also available.

🌉 The road is available on all elevations (tunnel, slope, ground, elevated and bridge).

🚂 On railway crossings, an additional barrier is located on the median to protect your cyclists.

🚴 Using the 'Encourage Biking' ordinance together with this road will encourage your citizens to stay fit and reduce traffic levels.

💙 This is my first asset ever created and prior to the Lockdown, I didn't know how to use Blender or Gimp so please let me know if I did something wrong and I will be more than happy to learn.

Best bike lane in the game!

Beautiful road!

I noticed that when “upgrading” from the vanilla tree-lined 2L road, sad faces kept popping up; hence, does this still carry the happiness & health benefit of tree-lined roads?
@BlueHawk This is amazing! I am wondering if you are able to do the same but with larger road sizes? (still within the game "small/med" sized roads.

This is one of the best assets I've seen! I can't wait to use it everywhere in my city :)

Is there a version of this road but with trees instead of parking and if available also a slightly wider sidewalk?

Even more amazing, I should say - I love the asset as is! :)

I was thinking the exact same thing as Fartlek - having the option to go from parking + two lanes to three lanes (without losing or moving the bike lane) would be amazing! :)

Loving this road. It would complete my Skylines life if you were to make a 2+1 asymmetric version where the parking "lane" is an active traffic lane, for those junctions where an extra turning lane would be ideal (where it would gracefully go back to this road with parking). It would mean making two more roads, though: one with the 2-lane in each direction.
