"This is a small tribute to the amazing Warhammer 40k which i discovered some months ago. I am still a bit ashamed for ignoring this badass scifi universe nearly all of my life. :-)

This is an artwork for a Warhammer wallpaper for Wallpaper Engine that i´m working on. It´s in an early stage and i still don´t know exactly how it is going to look animated when it´s done, but this is a good starting point because i like the artwork which is always a good sign. Played around with some heavy microdisplacement in Blender to give the otherwise flat 2D background a little bit more depth.
