All about the Huntsman Blue Balls #190

A short guide on the story, pricing, and personal history with the Huntsman Knife Case Hardened Pattern #190, also known as the infamous DickHardened, Blue Balls, or McSkillet pattern.

So, some context about this particular pattern:
It was introduced to the public in a McSkillet Youtube video where he talking about this pattern he had found on the Huntsman Knife. Although we could not find the video of him talking about this knife, we did find this video about him showing it off in his inventory.

But that was not how we, as well as most of the people we know, found out about this knife. We saw TDM_Heyzeus discussed this knife multiple times over the years in his videos:

"This is the item that I wanted the most ever since I started collecting. This knife took me 2-3 months to trade up to. It took away many of my most prized, and unique souvenirs in the process. I will have a section about things I have traded away, but in the end it was worth it.

I acquired the truly amazing Huntsman Knife Case Hardened #190, also known as the ♥♥♥♥ Hardened from MatixxbOI on April 30th, 2020. Through this Reddit post after negotiating for 22 arcs."

"I saw this knife in a HeyZeus video, and knew immediately I must own one. I contacted several different owners for pricing, but all have high buyouts with little room for negotiating. After several discussions, I came to a deal with the Rank 1 float owner to buy it via Bitskins for $1500.

I was told afterward that I purchased this knife while the guide was being made. This transaction happened on May 27th, 2020, and I took delivery of the knife a week later on June 4th, 2020."

Float.db registered six of them but CSGOExchange shows seven due to one version is duped. The current owners are:

The one listed for the meme price was owned by McSkillet himself, now owned by Rigby (outdated), check his profile for a unique take on the McSkillet incident.



According to Niksu_25, he got his for €1200 back in 2017. Ada/Molly in the comments made us aware that he traded a Karambit Tiger Tooth FN 1:1 for the McSkillet one in back in 2016.

Prices Update August 2nd, 2021

The original McSkillet Knife was featured in an Ohnepixel YouTube video that got over 100k views. The next day, the knife was sold for a crazy $4200.69. It was later revealed that the price it sold for was a package deal. The deal included the Huntsman in question, rank #2 highest float USP-S Road Rash, and the rank #2 highest float Moto Gloves Turtle.



The lowest float of this knife received a offer of roughly €5000 ($6000). Meanwhile, the highest float version received an offer of $2000, which are the highest offers yet.

2022 Antwerp Major Appearance

The infamous Blue Balls pattern have finally made it to a Major. The legend Patsi from Team Spirit was the one who borrowed it from NinjaDeadpool. It was used during the BO3 Quarterfinal Match vs. FURIA for 2 maps. Map 1 was on Vertigo and Map 2 was on Ancient.

*Little back story on how this knife made it into the Major. I was already lending Patsi another knife, and so I asked him for a favour. I asked him: "When Spirit makes it to the playoffs, will he use my knife in the Major?". He said yes and the rest was history writing itself.*

Prices Update August 16th, 2022

The McSkillet Huntsman have once again enter the headlines with the recent sale on the Chinese trading website, BUFF.163. The knife have been listed on BUFF for quite some time at the price of ¥18K RMB (roughly $2600 USD) but was sold at the min bargain price of ¥14.5k RMB (roughly $2100 USD).



This knife was brought back into the spotlight with thanks to DallasBobby tweets and we believed it was because of these tweets that this knife was sold once again. Bobby also made a video about this knife that you can watch below.

when i obtained the mcskillet one in 2016ish it was called "Blue Ballz", then i named it to "Dick Hardened" i traded a kara tt FN 1:1 for it. I received numerous offers in the ball park around 2000 usd - 3200 usd. So yeah!
