Descrizione
What is this?
A mod that adds friendly bots to Zombies Mode to fight alongside you. Bots use non-occupied player slots and (try to) act like real players. The number of bots can be modified by changing your party size in the lobby.
The mod can be played solo, in split-screen, with friends and it also works in offline mode. It supports every original map and most of the custom ones.
This mod is a remake of Team Bots for ZM.

Bots are able to:
  • Wander, hold a position or follow you
  • Shoot and melee zombies
  • Buy wall weapons
  • Buy random box weapons
  • (Re-)Pack-A-Punch weapons
  • Buy perks
  • Buy (most) doors
  • Revive others
  • Pick up power-ups
  • Repair windows
  • Use shields and PES suit
  • Use 2 weapons (3 with Mule Kick)

They have:
  • Increased health - 300% by default, 600% with Juggernog (compared to default player health).
  • Faster health regeneration - 50HP per second.
  • Unlimited ammo - their weapons get replenished when they swap them.
  • Ability to teleport - When set to Follow and cannot reach any player's location, bots will teleport to the closest player in a short time. If no player is found on the navmesh they will auto-switch to Wander.

Bots can buy ANY perk, but prioritize:
  • Juggernog
  • Double Tap
  • Speed Cola

Bot modes:
  • Wander: Bots wander around the map. They engage zombies, buy doors when they have enough points and also pick up power-ups (if enabled).
  • Stay: Bots move to the position of the host player and defend there. They will only move around when they are in danger. When someone is down, they will try to revive and then return to their previous position. They will also pick up powerups (if enabled).
  • Follow: Bots follow the nearest player. They engage zombies freely. If they are too far from the player or the area is clear, they return to him. They also buy doors that are close to them and pick up power-ups (if enabled). In case a bot is blocking a path, the player has to look at it and melee to make it move.

Controls:
  • Visibility of controls are toggled by pressing the buttons displayed in the top left corner.
    (X & SPACE on keyboard by default).

Additional features:
  • Perk limit is increased to 5 on maps that have 4 or less.
  • Max ammo refills currently loaded magazine.
  • Carpenter repairs riot shields.

Known issues and limitations:
  • Since the bots use the same routes that the zombies use, it might happen that they want to go to areas they cannot reach. They will eventually switch to other waypoints.
  • Most of the interactions like buying wall weapons and perks are scripted, because it's hard to get the bots to properly walk up to every interactable object.

Make sure not to activate splitscreen until in the Zombies lobby and make sure "Player" is first (on top) and "Player1" is below on the player list.

An excellent mod! Also, do you think it would be possible for you to release an update combining this bot mod with the solo Easter egg mod? For example, pressing just one button in the space monkey round in Ascecion during that Easter egg stage? So that we could do all the Easter eggs solo, but with them helping us. Or in Eisendrache, where we only need to make a bow to start the Easter Egg in solo mode.

It's set up a bit differently.

Until round 15 bots will try to get a better weapon, if one of their weapons isn't strong enough for the current round. Past round 15 they only buy new weapons, if there is a Fire Sale and only take it, if one of their weapon is weaker that any of their current weapons. So they try to keep the better ones.

This logic is based on a calculated value (affected by weapon type, fire mode, mag size, overall ammo count and reloading time), because i wasn't able to get damage values of weapons so I had to improvise.

That's why they swap some weapons that might be strong (like the Ray Gun variants) and prefer weapons with high ammo count, magazine size and faster reload.

I wanted to ask this, whenever the BOTS pick up either a Ray gun Mk2 or the OG Ray gun, they end up swapping or replacing them with a different gun whether its a AR or LMG, then when its either Round 30+ the bots just ignore or don't pick up either of the Ray guns anymore.

Is that part of the coding where they're classed as a Wonder weapon, even though they don't have infinite damage Unlike the Thunder gun, wonderwaffe etc?

Adding more than 3 bots has been requested before, but due to stability issues it won't happen. (+ I don't know how to do it, and I only do scripting which I believe isn't enough to do it).

Getting bots to do easter eggs is hard, especially that there are countless maps with different steps and interactions. That means each step on each map would require a separate code. These bots are meant to be used mainly for survival. Never had intentions to expand them to do easter eggs, that would take way too much time.

Please men add a 10 bot limit for only zombies not nightmare i would play this all day if this was possible plus your rating and stars will definitely increase since this is what many people want plus the bots are smart too

This is the best mod on blops 3, and its near perfect! My only notes for it is I wish they could pick up wonder weapons (map specific) like the elemental staffs and bows, and I wish they would allow us to continue easter eggs (I don't expect them to do ee steps, but to at least proceed to the next step when requiring 4 people, like placing ragnarok's on tiles to get to the boss room in der eisendrache.) but is still a must have mod, keep up the great work on this mod!

Is there any way to progress this adaption of zm bots, making them similar to left 4 dead bots? I eventually would like to demo a Mode that puts Baal in the game and create a necromancer vs player (rts with some turned) mode, does the same attack move set, but spawns a zombie, you switch from player or Baal, if not he spawns in and fights like a bot, while fighting the other bots. so that way, when its progressively being play tested they're act out, you no clip and watch the bots fight the Entity and turn ZM Bot into An amiibo, that, after rounds, it does smooth slides, if you dive at them, they dive back, if you crouch twice and shoot at the sky, they do it too, lets say you did something funny and it was by you, it mimic it on screen looking at the player, you run up and buy the door and look back at bot and run away, it mimic you, now its round 35 and this creep is so smart its like im playing with a clone, like a shadow link
