Can't turn off in game Mic when using co-op/multiplayer?
By RavenClaw550
I had issues with echo playing on Co-op mode in bulletstorm when using discord (which we always use for games) after a bit of searching i found that editing the SteamWorksEngine.ini found in:
\ SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition\StormGame\Config\Steamworks

find and change: VOIPVolumeMultiplier=16
to read VOIPVolumeMultiplier=0

this will still show mic activity on the icon but will no longer create echo for the person you are talking with
for it to be mutual the other player must also edit the same file in their directory.

can then go on and game using discord or other VOIP app without the annoying echo
tested with 2 players, most likely works with more.
Have fun.
