Description
Age of a Heroes Quest
Age of a Heroes Quest is a complete overhaul over HeroQuest being it own game.
The game brings one a new way to play with mods from Raymond's Quest and more being changed and overhauled to fit Age of a Heroes Quest. Giving a lot more in a more easier to understand and more presentable. With me creating everything from scratch customizing it all.

Adding a larger expanded town with many new equipment to choose from and a whole new magic system making the Wizard or Elf more powerful and Magic useful but also dangerous.
With casting spells you are able to cast same spell many times you like but more you cast more you need to roll for Mind Test to successfully cast it unlike in Raymond's Quest.

All other mods such as Personality, Dungeon Events, Tavern Events have all be redone to and created for Age of a Heroes Quest.

Monsters
There are now four types of Monsters from Dark Forces, Beasts and Undead. Each having being different on how to deal with them and actions they perform. Each monster has a trait like in Raymond's Quest
but with new add-on's to be able to Break Shields or taking less damage from range weapons such as bows and crossbows.

*Dark Forces
Dark Warriors, Gargoyles, Warlocks

*Beasts
Goblins. Orcs, Reptiles, Ogres and Shamans

*The Undead
Skeletons, Zombies, Mummies, Giant Bats, Vampires and Necromancers

*Northlands
Hobgoblins, Wolves, Werewolves, Ice Golems, Polar Warriors and Yetis

Giving each type new and challenging to the Heroes, As some monster having more then one trait
or able to cast magic themselves.

Equipments
One thing Heroes need is equipment and there is many choices to pick, from Blunt weapons to stunning the foes or Pole arms to to be able to attack a far or pass/over allies in tight places or perhaps range weapons too keep your distance. There is also lots of Armours and Shields to try out.
Allowing you to make a character you like.

There are number of equipment's that can help your heroes to carrying more potions, able to cast more spells or evening moving further in the dungeon. Each to help any encounters.

Magic&Spells
Magic is a tool that can be used for the Elf and Wizard Magic is key to most of their solutions. Magic
is powerful which you are able to cast spells without them being discarded. But more spells cast by the Spell Caster more critical it become to a point they must Roll for a Mind Test to pass the casting.
But doing it more can result in, Failing the Mind Test instead explosion on your self.

The Elf and Wizard are able to cast 3 spells each anytime in dungeon free without need of the Mind Test and the Critical Point only affect them separately.

Dungeon Generator
The new Dungeon Generator adds a new way to play that creates quest for you with the goal, reward and dungeon layout. So each quest be different each time. As well the reward. The Dungeon Generator
comes with two decks the Rooms and Passages.

Each card will have a symbol presenting furniture, Monsters, Traps or Secret Doors That DM can use the Traps on Heroes later or Secret doors when Heroes search for them.

It also comes with a Starter Location Deck, Reward Deck and Quest deck for starting location the heroes will be in the dungeon and their quest. Once completed the quest might state they be reward two Reward cards which then you draw two and combine the rewards. That can be coin or a Artefact.

Finally there the Monster Decks, which you can mix and match up to make your own adventure of beasts you face in the dungeon or making it completely random.

Setting Up
To Setup Game use the colourful Bags behind the DM screen, Brown and Green for Game Setup, Purple for 6 Player,
Red for Town and Blue for Furniture and Monsters.

Rules of Journey Deck
The rules are when Heroes/Player finish a quest they must travel back home with the Evil Wizard will draw three Journey cards face down revealing them one by one reading it context to the Heroes till they reach the end of their Journey. There they made to town and roll for the economy table as normal.


Solo Play or 7 Players
This game also has rules set for those that like to play alone or with no DM all being heroes instead.
With in the DM rule book.

The game is also set for 6 players as well or for those temporary players the two extra players can play as Wandering Heroes that also act in normal game as Sub Heroes that are mercenaries giving then a chance to play as either a Monk, Knight, Ogre, Elf or Archmage.

Expansions
I will be adding expansions to this mod in future adding new stuff from monsters, dungeons, quests, rewards, and more.

Thank you for that advise. I'll see if I can get my hands on that files from my friends. I'll drop a note if I get it working and then I can provide them as well.

Hello, Senja, yeah the cards are broken with some error. But it works for few that try the mod like last year as when load up a mod with mod catching it saves the images so when the link is broken it does not effect them as it in the catch folder. unlike newer members they get just the broken.

that results in the deck being white, It the last piece that needs fixing atm.
I have not got the original files when i first made it, i have to either get hands on the catch files or remake them ground up again.

however if you want to fix it for yourself, if you have a friend that it loads up fine for you can see about them sharing the image of the deck to you. The catch are found in the pc Documents/My Games/Tabletop Simulator/Mods/images.

and place it in there and it help you at least for time being. But problem is it searching for it in a wave of images appending of how many mods they payed as it saves everything in that 1 folder.

The Town Event cards also seem to have some odd behaviour:
For users with an AMD gfx card the town cards are empty and one gets an error message (will post in in a second comment), while users with an NVIDA gfx card do see the cards and their texts.

New Update with balance and monsters slain can earn a few coins as well a injury/scar system when all heroes die can have chance to staying alive then being completely wiped.
With some fixing spelling errors and balance out the dungeon event cards.

All is fixed part from the town events as the back ups are lost so only thing that can be done is remake them from ground up again or someone who had the image catch.

But all been fixed and i remade the sage and crossbowman with high res. As well added new spells and monsters to deal with happy adventures!

Hello Maronach Maldoran, i am aware and working on fixing the broken images atm.
As i had a cloud issue that cause a number of things to break, and it just recovering backups.

but thanks you for letting me know what was broken. Soon i do get backups and all i will updating mod again for the remaining issues.

Nice mod and great work. It looks like the Card of the Crossbowman and the Wandering Sage is missing.
