Weapon Background:
The LAR Grizzly Win Mag pistol was conceived, invented, designed, engineered and developed in the 1980s by the sole inventor, Perry Arnett, who licensed his patent for an interchangeable caliber automatic pistol to L.A.R. Manufacturing Inc. The Grizzly is an oversize of the Colt M1911 design, and most parts are interchangeable with those of the standard size pistols of other manufacturers.

The most popular variant, the Mark I is chambered for the .45 Winchester Magnum, hence the "Win Mag" part of the Grizzly's name. The most powerful variant, the Mark V (the version featured in GFL) is chambered in .50 Action Express, and was made to compete with the IMI Desert Eagle which used the same cartridge.
