This creation was made in collaboration with my friend MysteriousGadget. He makes all kinds of cools stuff, and was great help in getting the shape of this build right.

German Battleship Scharnhorst

The battleship (or battlecruiser) Scharnhorst was a large capital ship that was initially laid down in 1935 to serve the Kriegsmarine. She was completed in 1939 and was armed with 283mm guns. She and her sistership Gneisenau often operated together as commerce raiders during the early stages of the war in Atlantic.

Scharnhorst and her sistership are credited for the sinking of the British aircraft carrier Glorious and her escorts, as well as hundreds of merchant convoys transporting goods between the US, UK, and Soviet Union. Scharnhorst is also known for achieving one of the longest-range naval gun-fire hit in history.

Scharnhorst was sunk during the Battle of the North Cape in December 1943 by the British battleship Duke of York and her escorts. Only 36 men were rescued.

*NOTE, some AA guns are purely decorative, and the smaller ones cannot turn. Otherwise all weapons on this model are fully functional.

Top speed of ships is messed up in BR so tune the engine yourself, the engine is hidden inside the funnel.


As usual, the armaments used can be found in my ship collection, this time it will only the the 283mm main guns and 105mm AA because they are the only guns that I am fully satisfied with.
