Description
This is a very hard map because of the mountaineous terrain.

Unfortunately the North is trading with the west and the South is trading with the East. I would not make the map upsidedown because i had to make a decision on keeping the map accurate or the geopolitics accurate.

In 1910, Korea was annexed by Imperial Japan. At the Japanese surrender at the end of World War II in 1945, Korea was divided into two zones, with the north occupied by the Soviet Union and the south occupied by the United States. Negotiations on reunification failed, and in 1948, separate governments were formed: the socialist Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the north, and the capitalist Republic of Korea in the south. An invasion initiated by North Korea led to the Korean War (1950–1953). The Korean Armistice Agreement brought about a ceasefire, but no peace treaty was signed.

This is the Empty Version!

Check out the populated map. You can also play it in Winter or Autumn, looks stunning.

I Agree Sigmar. As for the Hills, the North Korean Landscape is actually very much like this, hence the low demographic of the country, and the concentration in the two main cities, Wonsan and Pyongyang. A good tip for starter's is focus on electricity selling at the begining, and trade with the North Korea border at DMZ and Inche'on. Later, use the money borrowing for building ships and export Oil and Fuel to China true Sea lanes. You can eigther focus on Pyongyang development or Wonsan development. But if you choose Wonsan you will be trading in the Sea of Japan and Hamhung instead.

Interesting map, but the hills are too much of an obstacle. The sheer cliffs of every hill across the entire map make it almost impossible to grade roads and rail lines to connect towns/resource mines, ect. They are also a little too "squared" off, they don't look natural.

On another note, it's too bad that you cannot designate which ends of the map are NATO and USSR borders, since they should be placed opposites.
