HM2 - Miner

This is a mid game dedicated mining HV based upon 2 large mechanical drills. It includes full life support and can be upgraded with shields, however it is not armed at all. Being a dedicated miner, it only has an ore storage controller.
It can fit through a 5x3 hangar door and so can be parked inside most small starter CVs. Being based upon large drills, then it bores a huge tunnel. This also means it can easily turn within its own tunnel.

I suggest adjust mining height to 1.5m - 2m while drilling in drill mode to be at the ideal height for large drills. Also when levelling out from the initial drill downward, do so slowly - this will make it easier. If you are not used to large drills, they can take a little getting used to, that said, this is the easiest to use large drill HV I have managed to construct and is now my main mid and late game dedicated miner.
