Thanks for checking out my map ;)
If you like this one, please check out my other maps (and in the future maybe other stuff) here!

For anyone wondering, I am not planning to keep the map updated with new content, or make any other changes to it. Perhaps if it'd break with a future patch I might make it compatible with the new game version but that's about it. I'd personally rather work on new or other projects, hope you'll all understand ^^

*The regular version without the true start location (TSL) may be more stable, I have had some crashes with this one!*
A semi-accurate map of Africa with semi-accurate starting positions for
-Civs:
Egypt
Arabia
Nubia
Kongo
Zulu
-City-states:
Jerusalem
Valletta
Fez
Kumasi
Ngazarmagu
Zanzibar
Antananarivo

The same map without TSL can be found here , which is better for gameplay but less realistic.

@Goopasloppababookaba Thank you! The wonder on the mountains on the right side of the center is Machu Picchu, on the left is the Great Bath wonder i believe. Hope that helped (:

This map looks nice. In your screenshots Juni, there is a a photo of Kongo with a cute wonder right of the city. What is that?

This was the very first civ map I've ever made, I know it's not very good nor very accurate.

Fair enough, but your version of Africa comes off as very dry. I just feel sorry for the people settling there. :(

Very helpful, but I don't think people lost in the wilderness of Africa should be using a user made, self proclaimed *SEMI-accurate, GAME map of Africa either way.. Who am I to say tho?


But in all seriousness, the map isn't made for being very accurate to either the geography or climates of the continent, it's meant to be a place to play this little game in, which, with enough imagination, somewhat resembles the African continent.
