The United Earth DIrectorate was in need of a vessel capable of short distance transportation of soldiers. Instead of using their resources to design an original ship, they turned to the private and civilian sectors for inspiration. The "Chimera-HAV-B" provided style queues which fit into the current fleet of UED Raven's however, it did not offer enough seating or redundancies to meet combat standards. Next, the proven yet aged "Recluse V Redux" designed by the XCaliber Blade Collective was reviewed. While the technology had grown to become ancient, the concept of a mass troop carrier in a small vessel was executed perfectly. Taking the Recluse frame, UED proceeded to design their Troop Transport...the "Reclumera" receiving it's name from the two inspiring vessels. Using the technology of the UED's Raven fighter vessel, styling queues of the "Chimera", and concept queues of the "Recluse", the Reclumera is capable of dropping into a combat situation, laying down moderate fire power, and picking up/dropping off 8 troops + the pilot, all while being able to sustain a high amount of damage before being rendered non-mission capable.
