So, after having this mod for months in my own personal repository, I finally decided to upload it to the public. It all started with a quite recent discovery of mine. Nakai actually reemerges like Beastmen hordes. But guess what? You'd never know. The game has, of course, no event display of such an event. So for the longest time I actually didn't know it happened. that's DLC13 for you alright. A mess. Poor Nakai.

So, this mod attempts to fix that, but also introduce different army generations for Beastmen and Spirit of the Jungle. I do believe you guys will be interested.

What does this Mod do?
  • Spirit of the Jungle (Nakai) has a proper event picture once they reemerge.
  • Beastmen hordes have lvl 3 Gor building available and a new army generation template with an interest in campaign balance.
  • Spirit of the Jungle (Nakai)'s horde spawn has all buildings available on the get-go and armies are significantly improved in power.

Some Info
Ok, so to explain in better detail what this mod does, the major edit is an edit to the script "wh_horde_reemergence.lua". Some images attempts to display the changes.

But to put it to text. The bestmen's army templates concist of a high chance to spawn in with Ungor spearmen (no shield) and ungor raiders (bows). Along with a mid chance of low tier minotaurs and even less, warhounds and Cygors.
The problem with this is that the beastmen hordes will be RNG based on how many Cygors they get. Usually, they suck anyway. But it makes them unpredictable. Which can be tempting, indeed. But they spawn so unfrequently and Their units become obsolete VERY FAST.

Now, I changed so they have a highest chance for Gors (dual wield), high chance with Ungor spearmen (shielded) and Ungor raiders (bows), same with monotaurs and same with warhounds, but they only get 1 Cygor. Along with starting with lvl 3 gor building, they can start creating Gors on the get go, should the AI wish.
This means that they will no longer be dependant on how lucky they are with Cygor spawn, but overall army composition.

Spirit of the Jungle has gotten the greatest love here. So, first thing of course is the new event picture when Spirit of the Jungle reemerges. Along with this, the reemerging army has a significantly improved army template.
Their armies have a very high chance for Kroxigors and sacred Kroxigors (because why wouldn't it?), high chance for Stegadon's, Carnosaurs and 1 garenteed Dread Saurian. Not only that, but their starting minor horde contains ALL buildings available on the get to ensure survival instead of guarenteed doom.

Compatibility
Any mods that edits "wh_horde_reemergeance.lua" are incompatible with this mod. Beware.

Hello, just wondering, If the Spirit of the Jungle die and respawn, Is Nakai leading the Army or just a regular Lord? Thanks!

Community Bugfix Mod Compatible ?

I've been told that they respawn as normal, just not if they were confederated, however I can't be certain.

The problem with their fix is that if you game as any other faction, they are essentially gone.

Late explanation, the bugfix CA released stopped malagor and Khazrak from respawning after being confederated by another beastmen faction as if they were destroyed, thus cloning the character so that there are two of them on the map at the same time.
