Traffic Light Replacer [Beta]

Description
Beta version of Traffic Light Replacer. Be aware that this may be unstable/have bugs.

Stable version here

Currently the beta is same as the stable version. In the future updates will be pushed here before the main version.

This mod allows for easy customization of your city's traffic lights. To open, press the traffic light edit button icon near the camera button or use F3.

No traffic lights are included with this mod; instead subscribe to one or more of the prop packs/mods below

Built-in configurations currently exist for these prop pack/mods:

Individual traffic light mods (ie. American Traffic Lights) need to be left disabled, otherwise conflicts will happen. The mod automatically disables individual traffic light mods on game startup since it only uses the bundled props

Localization
This mod supports localization via a modified version of BloodyPenguin's TranslationFramework

Currently supported languages:

Technical:
This mod uses Harmony 1.2.0.1

Known issues:
  • Does not work on linux
  • Partial incompatibility with Network Skins 2 (still ok to use with)
    • new skins added in a session do not always reflect traffic light pack changes
    • reloading the game resolves this issue as all props on loaded skins replace correctly
  • “Opposite stop line” mode quirks
    • Opposite side traffic light phases are from the opposite stop line road
      In certain intersections with oneway roads this is noticeable sometimes where the light phases on the far side do not match the near side.
    • TM:PE custom traffic timed light configurations where each side of the intersection has different phase timings will not look right
    • Opposite side traffic lights on oneway roads do not change phase
    • Opposite side traffic lights on incoming T-intersection roads are hidden

ABANDONED MOD! Yes it works, but the dev no longer updates it. To avoid headaches, I suggest you refrain from installing either the beta and/or stable of this mod.

could i ask you to add these /filedetails/?id=2863066969 dutch traffic lights instead.

as that pack is much better, and includes correct lights for different a host of different situations as well as having dedicated left and right turn lights.

Reinstalling traffic signal props appeared to help reduce prop issues.

Correction. Seems to be more sporadic than I initially thought. Sometimes one or two traffic signals will be rotated by 90 degrees, facing the wrong way.

I found using network extensions 2 causes prop errors with both this and the stable version.
