N.S482 Grand Central Class 180 York - Doncaster (Pt 1 of 2)

Description
Read this description first BEFORE starting.
To make sure you can pick up passengers easily, follow the on screen instructions, positioning your first carriage within the HUD cross section station building indicated.

Route: ECML Modern: York - Peterborough
Duration: 24 minutes Difficulty: Easy - Medium
Scenario: Standard
Extra DLC: Grand Central Class 180 'Adelante' dmu, Class 91 East Coast (livery add-on pack). The rest I believe come with the route.

Grand Central, is an Open Access operator. They still use the Class 180 Adelante, in the colours used in TS, from Sunderland and Bradford to Kings Cross.

I have tried to capture the feeling of privatisation on the ECML at the time of 'East Coast', utilising the various early Class 158 colours available.

I hope you enjoy this non-stop 125 mph run to Doncaster.

Part 2 from Doncaster to Peterborough is N.S475

My favourite DMU. There is something about it for me. A pity the software will NOT allow 2 to pass on this route (or in fact others too possibly). Very annoying, as I really wanted to experience it.

Hi Not.Silent, once again, my apologies, I continued on at York and I completed the scenario successfully. To be honest, I still could not figure out where to stop at York but it must have been OK, as I got a green tick on my scenario list. The class 158 in various liveries was appreciated. My bad, but well done Not.Silent

Hi Scouser888. As you move along, station by station, a mini version of your train moves along from left to right at the bottom of what you see on the HUD, to show you what is coming next. Each station is depicted as a green line with a small building on it. I am talking about this SYMBOL for the station building, and positioning your RED locomotive depicted at the front, central to this mini version of the station building on this - NOT the REAL station platform that you see out of the train window.

Hi Not.Silent, my apologies, for some unknown reason, I changed cabs at York? Can you confirm that I should keep going. I still can't locate any buildings at York station, but depending on your answer, it might be irrelevant.

Hi Not.Silent. OK, maybe I'll try it again. But I have tried it 5 times already, and I keep running out of track. I'll give this one a miss, thanks!

The cross section at the bottom of the HUD Scouser888, above the green bar there is building.

As far as I can see there are no buildings on York station, so I am completely lost there. I keep running out of track, as the train does not switch tracks, so unsubscribed and deleted. I am VERY disappointed!

Thanks for the feedback showness. Feel free to do so again in the future.

Thanks for putting this together. I was routed into Platform 5 at York instead of 3, so it didn't work for me at all. Also, the notes coming into York, whilst helpful were very distracting and I ran through the red the first time.
