Description
***My other mod, melee triremes has been added to this mod, in order to try and create a much need progresive overhaul of the naval warfare mechanics the game lacks***

ROMAN NAVAL HARPAX

The roman harpax, was a type of ballista attached to the boat (as normal ballistas), BUT with the difference that it fires harpoons, harpoons that are tied with a rope, so when they impact into the enemy ship, the roman crew of the ship with the harpax can pull them near to be able to board them.
This mod was made with CA files, the harpax was a cuted feature of the game, but with some modding Ive been able to introduce it into battles, and IT WORKS!

HOW TO USE:
-To use it you have to order your harpax ship to board an enemy ship (not to ram it). Even if the harpax unit doesnt have the "fire at will" button as other artillery units, it will get into range and then it while fire the harpax, maintaining static while the enemy ship is pulled near until they start board it.
This mod replaces the roman six boat, and also replaces the triari crew, for a cohor of legionaries. I havent tested it yet on the campaign map but it should be recruitable.

MELEE TRIREMES

Before the first Punic War triremes were one of the most common ships in the known world, even when Rome became an Empire, triremes were the most common ship used in their navy.
The vanilla Rome 2 only has missile triremes, which are rarely usefull and very ahistorical (romans normally boarded enemy ships engaging in melee).
Thats why this mods adds melee triremes to ALL factions that had missile triremes in their rooster (all but nomadic and barbarians) playable and unplayable with their respective realistic crews.

HOTFIX:
-Changes unit caps from 1 to unlimited.
-Fixed missing names of boats XD.

PATCH:
-Added melee triremes mod
-Now Harpax units dont overwrite roman hexaremes, they have its own place :D
-Harpax crew changed from legionaries to principes for balance purpouses
-Melee triremes no longuer are called "missile trieres"
-Compatible with Beta 8.1

Hi can you so something to make it recruitable?i have some bugs too like sometimes the ship get bugged and dont move during all match. To finish it should be great to take it on a investigation to recruit it and if we evolve principes to legionaries and then to legionarie cohort the ship should do the same! It wanna be cool and other thing, can you make more short the range it is abusive and irreal, good mod guy ;)
