Introduction

EASY & EPIC Guide to Jungling and then Ballin' on the Legion Commander. She is one of the most fun heros to currently play in Dota, so lets all play her before she is nerfed! Extremely overpowered in most situations, but in the wrong hands this hero can really screw your own team up by feeding the enemy carry permanent +++Damage.

Legion is a Semi-Carry, not a hard carry as sometimes mistaken for. She is completely single target damage with slow attack speed unless you build battlefury and AC everytime. Your ultimate in the late game is to prevent someone casting a team fight winning ability (luckily, these tend to be squishy supports, Silencer, Lich, Zues etc.)

How to Jungle

Basically, make sure you are next to the rune from 0:00 closest to your jungle. You are the best person to take the rune UNLESS someone has a bottle start. If it is an illusion rune or double damage rune, pick the rune up at about 00:20-25 and go straight to the hard camp.

If it's a haste rune, then you can sometimes get a first blood depending on your mid / closest jungle lane.

Jungling order =
Kill the medium camp first (ALWAYS KILL THE HARDEST/BIGGEST CREEP FIRST! VERY IMPORTANT - WHY? Because whilst you are hitting the biggest creep that does the most damage, the other creeps are hitting you for not very much damage because of your shield AND proccing your 3rd ability.

You never really need to kill the easy camp unless you get extremely unlucky with Medium camp spawns, such as centaur's everytime etc.

I usually kill both medium camps by about 1 min 40ish, then stack the hard camp.

When you are level 3 you can start taking hard camps (not the Hellbear camp!)

After level 6

Rushing the Midas is the best build on Legion now. You should have it by around 7 mins 15 seconds on average. Not the fastest in the game, but before 9 minutes is fine. When you have midas, always midas the largest creep around for maximum xp. Next item build Shadowblade or Treads, your choice. All the time farming, make sure you are lane aware, if your mid or jungle lane has a stun, you can almost gaurantee duel wins. Be aware, go into lanes and duel.

After Shadowblade

Now you have Shadowblade, you instantly become the scariest guy in Dota 2. You become the best solo ganker in the whole game. You can basically walk up to a squishy support (by now you will have 2-4 duel wins and have +20-40 damage) so will kill a support who is 3 levels below you easily.

How to Shadowblade Gank

Basically, if the enemy you are trying to gank has no invis, no escape mechanism, or no silence (or they are just slow/plain bad) you want to do this

• Shadowblade invis and go next to enemy
  
• Hit first (for bonus 150 damage)
  
• Cast 2nd ability on yourself (for 5 seconds of extra speed)
  
• Duel enemy and win
  
• If duel finishes and they aren't dead use Q on them and finish them off (everyone should be by now unless your dueling the tankiest mofo in the land or Abaddon)

IF THEY HAVE INVIS/ESCAPE etc just use duel instantly out of Shadowblade, or HIT then duel to ensure you get them.

During Team Fights

When to use duel? Use the duel on someone is who either on extremely low HP and you can guarantee a win for bonus damage OR use it on someone with massive team fight capability like Tidehunter/Lich/Shadow Shaman/Zues/Silencer any of these people with major team disables/high damage things.

If you find the team is being rinsed by one person, duel them so the whole team can focus them. The main benefit of duel here is not the bonus damage, but the ridiculous disable if puts onto them.

NEVER BUY ARMLET ON THIS HERO. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND YOU DON'T NEED. SPEND THE MONEY ON AN EARLY ASSAULT CUIRASS. ARMLET IS WASTED!!
