How accurate is totally accurate battle simulator?

You ever feel like this game is not accurate enough? You ever feel like this game doesn't stand up to it being called totally accurate? Well here let's determine if totally accurate battle simulator is accurate enough to be classified as totally accurate. the result might surprise you.

An accurate insight

Alright, let's get this straight, you aren't accurate if totally accurate battle simulator is as accurate as it says how accurate it is, but hopefully you're still sticking onto this game because of popular tabs youtubers, but if you're considering hitting that uninstall button then i can give you some good reasoning why you should stick on for much longer.


But if you stick onto this game because of all of the potential funny moments, then i'm not sure if you need this guide.

The Overview

First off, you should keep in mind that each faction has it's own set of units, each unit has it's own weaknesses and strengths, each one has it's own special mechanic and each one has it's own thing it's expert at. It's important to know how units pick their battles if you want to be good at playing tabs.

And remember this one important factor that determines a unit's play style.

there's units that are known for specializing in ranged combat, such as spear throwers, flintlocks and archers.



And there's units who, like the majority of the tabs units, lack tools for ranged combat, and are stuck with axes, maces, clubs and some kind of pointy log

You can also count an anti - ranged category for units such as the samurai (and or the shogun) and both shield bearing units but they're technically melee units.

The special faction for special people

Now of course, with all this talk about ranged units and melee units it would be a shame not to mention a certain faction...


Enter the secret faction, this faction has some of the most annoying units you will ever see in the game, well, if you want to put it that way.


It has a unit that can abduct other units...



It has units with way too much fire rate...

And then there's the cheerleader.
Don't let the cheerleader's adorable attire and fancy bowtie fool you, this thing is the incarnation of the devil.

I mean seriously, look at this, look at what four of these guys and a greek god can do.

You REALLY don't want to mess around when the cheerleaders come along.
They are quite serious. removed the covid-19 thing because it felt kinda out of place

Look, let's just move on.

The Maps

I'm not sure if i need to go into much detail into each of the game's maps, i mean sure you have to explore them to unlock the secret units but they don't wield much potential when it comes to dissecting each map for this guide. except for medieval 1 i guess.

The Halloween present

When october rolled around back in 2019, the guys over at landfall decided to celebrate the occasion by adding one special thing to tabs...


...a halloween faction.

This faction introduced:

• A very spooky scary skelly bones
  
• A fire archer
  
• A ranged attacker with knockback
  
• A literal vampire
  
• A catapult that flings bouncy balls
  
• A ranged attacker that attacks automatically
  
• A splash area unit that can instantly kill the first 6 units it encounters

And at that everything was fine and dandy, it was a nice addition to the tabs universe, it even came with it's own campaign.

The Bug DLC

April fools rolls around, and again, landfall decides to celebrate the occasion...


...by making a dlc to ruin their own game. (no offense, but at this point beating the entire campaign is as easy as placing a single unit and using the shoot tool to just complete the levels)

I really appreciate the marketing strategy they were going for here, i think you should also add a dlc to ruin your own game at some point, it just adds financial value.

Here, you can pick up units...

Shoot projectiles at them in a similar way a certain blue knight does...

It can create some strange rift that can suck in units...

The Wild West Faction

The Legacy Faction

To be honest, starting this one off is kinda tricky, for now i'll just say i played the closed alpha version of tabs, but not when it was first released, i didn't get early access to it.

Alright, let's get this over with.


You know, i think the legacy faction is great and all but i feel like it's missing out on most of the more popular alpha units such as the chicken man and m16 and the entire neon faction, but the developers could be planning to add them in a later update.

Ah whatever, it's all still good.

Unit Creator

This is perhaps the most awaited feature out of everything tabs, it was teased far back, far back when the main menu looked like this: (it was probably sooner or later but whatever)
it took 2.5 years total for everyone to finally be able to have access to this lovely feature we were wishing for from the day landfall showed it to us. And the wait was worth it.

Everything aside, i feel like i can summarize this with a simple "it's gud."

oh yeah now i get to make fun of robtop even more because 2.2 took longer than the unit creator.

Summarizing Everything else

Well, i've got nothing much else to say about tabs, it was interesting to mention and above all else it was fun to pretty much mess around.

And at this moment, i shall conclude that totally accurate battle simulator, is as accurate as it stands to be. (Bonus points cause of the bug dlc)


Now we just got to pray that the unit editor doesn't take longer than a geometry dash update. (seriously robtop, you need to step up your game.)
