Pangea Maxima, Large Lakes Small Seas

Description
Huge size map. All land is connected, though some small islands do exist within bodies of water. Some areas are very mountainous and may require tunneling to traverse easily (but you can also go around them).

Naval units are viable! All major bodies of water can be connected through strategic canal placement! Do not ignore your coastlines or you may pay a heavy price!

Global warming will only affect areas close to the ice caps. Land closest to the equator is largely safe.

Bonus and Strategic resources are scattered evenly though Uranium is rare and oil will mostly require offshore drilling.
Luxuries are pocketed to promote trade. All civs should have access to at least 1-3 types.

No civs are favored heavily over others. There's something for everyone here.

Is this map the same map everytime?

It shows two entries in the mod list. One requiring GS and Rise and Fall, and one requiring GS. The first is disabled, and the enable key is greyed out. The second is enabled. https://i.imgur.com/mLJdgdz.jpg

If it's enabled it should appear in your maps list. I can't really say for sure why it wouldn't be. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing.

How do I load this? I don't see it in the map list even though it shows enabled in the content menu.

@JTommo So I did some digging and from what I see, it isn't actually possible to have randomly generated resources each time you load the map. You can do it manually though, using the method I gave you. Right below clear resources it says "scatter resources" this will randomly generate resources on the map, however every time you load the map it will be the same until you go into world builder and select scatter again. If you have your mods turned on when you do this, I believe it will include those modded resources in the scatter. Give that a shot. If it doesn't work, I'm sorry, I don't think I can do anything. Don't forget to generate a new id. You have to generate a new ID every time you load a map and make changes. Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

Thanks for the response.

I tried your method, however when i attempt to play the new map it does not give me the option to alter any of the resource settings (sparse, standard, abundant etc). Then when the map actually loads in it is completely empty of any resources anyway...

I dont suppose there is a way that you could provide the option when starting a game to generate your own resources?

Thanks for your help man sorry for being nitpicky lol

@JTommo I pre-set the resources for balance purposes because, imo, the randomly generated resources are never balanced and one or two civs always come out on top, but if you want random resources you should be able to open the map in world builder, select clear resources, and save the map under a new name. BUT! Before you save the map make sure you generate a new map ID. You do this by clicking on the feather in the top left corner. A menu will open and the button to select should be right there. If you don't generate a new ID the maps will conflict and won't save properly. Let me know if this works for you.

I really love the look of this map, especially the canal potential!
However i like to play with mods that add resources and it seems that all the resources are pre set for the map.

Is there any way you can allow the option to have randomly generated resource distribution instead of only the pre set resources when starting a game?

This map looks awesome and i would love to play it :))
