Weaker Heroes and Villains for Attila
People made history. But it is rare that single characters were superheroes or gods.
Yes, there were villains, but this mod makes these villains bearable if they happen to fall under your guidance.

The purpose of this mod is to improve gameplay AND to help modders build mods without the many faults in Vanilla and recent tradition.

A secondary purpose is to combine multiple innovative mods into one pack due to the small size of the mod launcher

This mod was created following the principle that while generals and agents are important, the worst effects shouldn't be so
bad that they make that character nearly useless. For example, "bad attacker" generals had their morale loss decrease from a
devastating -15 to a bearable -12. Unhealthy was changed to from -30 to -15 chance of dying of natural causes.

On the other hand, many of the skills and traits are pretty useless. The useless ones were given slight buffs.
Buffs tend to increase at levels 2 (and 3 if it exists)

General and Agent character skills
About 1/6 of all skills and traits were changed.
Unchanged skills/traits were mostly removed from the tables.
Many of the changes derive from Radious' and Prometheus' mods.

The second principle was to make overpowered skills weaker by the same amount.
For example, in the Main table, tax and gdp mods from agents and generals were decreased by about 25%.
One spy can return about 1000 a turn in some Roman provinces with Vanilla values.
Most morale and defense rank 2 values were raised 10%.
Movement range was added to a number of naval and army traditions as well as some useless agent skills.
I like to play mods that remove assassinations, so this makes the agents worthwhile again.
Wife values that cause infertility were decreased.

Attempted to fix the bug where naval traditions don't improve hull health by adding a new value from Athanasios' mod.

Community Table
Javi-Wan gets credits for this fix
All the campaign experience modifiers for generals and traditions were not increasing xp each turn as intended.
This table was separated out so it can be easily modified.
No xp values were changed, but the xp increases should now work.

Marksmanship Table
See ArshiaTN's mod.
He claims that he tested this extensively and found that 1000 range points = 10 meters.
We were seeing 10 from vanilla which is equal to an extra 10 cm in range. Great work CA.
All missile_range effects have been adjusted to match this.
Imagine this never worked after all these years.

Ship Naval Integrity Skills
This is a well-researched mod I created in 2016.
It adds traditions and skills that make naval trips beyond a few turns viable.
Otherwise, all the navies decimate unless kept at dock.
It is suggested that the navy get several tradition/char skills before venturing out for more than a few turns.

Radious Table
Left basically unchanged from Radious' last official edition.

Ancillaries
Only a table from Jav the fixes experience accrual was included.

Traits
Mostly nerfed negative effects.
There were a number of bugs in modded editions surrounding evading agents.
I left the correct values (negative means good) in the table so you can use this mod with other trait mods.

Most of this mod is included, but for additional naval integrity buffs, subscribe to this one.

This is meant for distribution in the mod community as it demonstrates how to completely fix several old Attila bugs across several tables.
TESTERS!!
I would appreciate help testing these effects. Report bugs in the bug thread.

Help those improving Attila
