Less Useless Nobles

Description
Makes Praetors, Barons, and Counts more useful by allowing them to do skilled manual labor. They'll still refuse to toil in mines or fields though, and cleaning is far too degrading. This doesn't effect NPC-only empire ranks who are presumably too used to having hundreds of personal robot servants rather than around twenty stockholmed raiders at best.

To clarify: Colony nobles do whatever work you ask them to in the current version of Rimworld unless they're conceited. I'm like pretty sure that changed in 1.2, which is why I didn't bother updating the tag. With this mod, conceited colony nobles will do skilled work too.

Empire nobles only normally show up in "keep X happy, X will not do any work" quests, but the mod also applies to Empire Praetors, Barons, and Counts as well (not anything higher though) if you somehow got one on map without one of those quests.

i just want my COLONY nobles to do stuff

This mod (probably) still works, but it's not useful anymore since noble guests usually refuse to work anyway as part of their quest and a vanilla update made noble pawns keep their usual worktypes unless they're Jealous, Abrasive, or Greedy.

anyone know if this mod works in 1.5?

Are there any plans to update this for 1.3?

I'd really like to try out the Titles portion of Royalty DLC, but I hate the idea some of my colonist becoming so useless...

Does this only work in 1.1? Has anyone tried this in 1.2 or 1.3?

@Rex705; Do you really think that in RimWorld's colony circumstances anyone would allow such a duchebag to even eat something others worked hard to produce? In reality, "noble" would be thrown out of the walls, to the dogs, or whatever is out there.

Now this I can get behind. It allows my pawn to still be of some use without totally negating the rising view a pawn would have of their station. Providing the benefits while still having some sort of downside is just what i was looking for, thank you

I think you're missing that this is about surviving a rimworld - besides that, people who are granted a noble title don't suddenly become incapable and/or unwilling to do things they were before they got the title, particularly if they have a passion for doing it.

all these mods about working nobles....I think people are missing the point. Nobles / rich people don't work they pay other people to do it for them.
