Description

This is my personal project on exploring craftable weapons and ammunition.
Suggestions and improvements are welcome!

The MP34 (Maschinenpistole 34) is a submachine gun that was used by units of the German Army in World War II. An exceptionally well-made weapon, it was used by some forces well into the 1970s. The M 34 was based on a design for the MP18.

CRAFTING

MP34 - SMG Stock + SMG Barrel + 6 Metal Scrap + 4 Metal Bar + MP34 Magazine (Blowtorch)

MP34 Magazine - 9x19mm Bullet Box + 3 Metal Scrap

9x19mm Bullet Box - Bullet Casings + 2 Metal Scrap + 3 Cloth (Blowtorch)

Bullet Casings - 2 Metal Bars (Blowtorch)

SMG Stock - 3 Maple Planks

SMG Barrel - 4 Metal Bar + 2 Metal Scrap (Blowtorch)

I tested it and can confirm B. Rudder did it correctly, it does function.

keep in mind im not a coder i went off youtube and online tutorials to do this. i know that this works for me but may god help ye if ye come across problems. i also didnt re-add the ability to turn the mags into metal scrap but im not sure that most folk would care about that.

im not sure if the 2017858634 is the same for everybody nor the 304930 but basically the 304930 is the unturned section that steam stores the workshop items and the 2017858634 is this specific mod.

to fix the mag go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\304930\2017858634\Bundles\Assets\mp34\Items\Magazines\MP34_32

then copy and backup "MP34_32.dat"

then open MP34_32.dat in notepad or something of the like and copy paste the following:

i fixed the magazine but for some reason even after rewriting the code the game (and/or mod idk) just doesnt like combining the ammo boxes with the metal. so what i did was i took the crafting recipe for the ammo boxes and added it to the mag recipe making it so ye need: 5 metal scrap, 3 cloth, 1 bullet casing, and a blowtorch; to craft a mag instead. ye can still refill the mags either with ammo boxes or with other mags but if ye want to craft a mag ye need to get the crafting supplies for the ammo box but not craft the ammo box and instead go straight for the mag.
