AISO Containers

Description
Alternative ISO containers standard

This standard was developed in regard to the "New ISO" and Nacon's ISO containers standards.

You can find more AISO containers in this collection.

You can find a detailed guide here

Why did we make this standard?
The fact is that the New ISO and Nacon's ISO uses a width of 11 blocks that is better than the ISO 9x9, but they will keep the length of 40-ft is 24 blocks unchanged, which distorts the external proportions of the container. In addition, the even number of container length blocks does not allow them to be suspended by the center of mass on the cable when using a crane. So thats the reason.

Dimensions
This standard is built on the principle of stacking 10-foot containers (13 blocks) with a separation of 1 block between them: 13 blocks is a 10-ft, +1+13=27 blocks is a 20-ft, +13+1=41 is a 30-ft, +13+1=55 blocks is 40-ft.

10 ft (2.99 m) = 11x12х13 blocks in game (3.25 m, scale 1:1.09)
20 ft (6.058 m) = 11х12х27 blocks in game (6.75 m, scale 1:1.11)
30 ft (9.1 m) = 11х12х41 blocks in game (10.25 m, scale 1:1.12)
40 ft (12.192 m) = 11х12х55 blocks in game (13.75 m, scale 1:1.13)

Width is 11 blocks, and basic hight is 12 blocks.

You can find some truck trailers for this containers on the JarnSorm page

I will add the data of this standard to my flexible connector system.

Does this standard still see much use by the community? I don't see many recent workshop items mentioning it, and most that do are cargo vehicles and trailers which are compatible with both AISO and the game's current default

Other than that i really like this standard

May I ask you a question, why did you make the bottom connectors extended and not the top ones (like standard iso containers have it) this makes it very difficult to build things that support both and generally limits cross-compatibility, which is essential for a standard

disconnect up and disconnect down are connected the wrong way

Unfortunate to see so much hate here. I really wish that the devs made actual 20ft & 40ft containers like these.

Это нереально классно!
Отличная заруба)))

are these the standard sizes for the containers like the big pump for missions too?
