Description
Small multi role exploration HV for scouting, planetary mining, asteroid mining, mini-mobile base, under ground POI assault, anti-drone defence. Once it gets its T3 and shield upgrade then it can be used for surface unshielded POI assault or underground assault of shield POIs. It is the small Swiss Army knife of HVs.

Details:
- CPU Tier 2 Compliant, Level 10 unlock
- Small - fits in the smallest hangars
- Top landing pads for docking under the tail wing of the SX1 SV (carry to moon to get your first cobalt for eg)
- Top Drone hatch, Rear airtight cabin with door on rear.
- 6 x Drills, Harvester
- 2 x Gatling gun, 1 x Mini gun turret
- 6K Cargo, 3k Ore, 1.5k Ammo, Fridge
- 2 x RCS + Up/Down thrusters for better maneuvering in space for asteroid mining
- Constructor, Locker, Clone Chamber, Medical, Detector
- Marked upgrade locations for Tier 3 and Tier 4 CPU extenders, Shield, 2 more turrets on sides, pentaxid tank underneath and a generator under the front landing lower pad.

Once equipped with a shield, rocket and plasma turrets, can be used for unshielded POI assaults in PvE. Being a miner combined with turrets, then it is also good for underground assaults on shielded terrain POIs with some help from a few det-packs to speed up punching through.

Docking with the SX1 SV is most easily accomplished as follows:
- Hover the SX1 just above the ground and level free of obstructions (I have the levelling button - default 0 mapped to middle mouse button for easy access)
- Get in the HV and look for the LCD projected symbols under the SV's tail (see screen shots). There is one green cross and another with a red cross and yellow upward triangle.
- Line up the 1st person cockpit HUD crosshair with the green cross and and red cross - once all are aligned you will be exactly sqaure with the back of the SV and exactly at the right height level for approach.
- Keeping everything aligned, slowly approach the back of the SV until you pass through the green cross so that it disappears.
- The instant that the green cross is no longer visible is the exact point at which the landing pads of the HV are exactly under the tail docking points on the SV.
- Now slowly go upwards so that your 1st person HUD crosshair points to the center of the top of the yellow triangle.
- At the top of the yellow triangle stop and wait - you should hear it dock.

This may be fiddly the first couple of times, but once you get used to it, its quick and easy. It is hugely helped if you map the auto level key (default O) to something convenient like the middle mouse button.

I use this as my main progression (and later assault) HV from level 5 through to level 20. Although this is a tier 2 level 10 build, it is possible to usefully strip this down to a tier 1, level 5 starter HV by removing:
- Gatling guns and drills.
- One of the pairs of rear thrusters
- One of the pairs of forward thrusters
- Both pairs of vertical thrusters (top and bottom)
- The pair of large hover pads
- Generator from under the front lower landing pad
- Constructor and medical and Tier 2 CPU
- Replace removed blocked with carbon blocks where needed to preserve the air tight cabin and leave it looking tidy.

This will give you an good tier 1 HV you can build quite easily at level 5 that can be upgraded to T3 and even T4 if needed at level 20.

I personally prefer a turret over constructor just because it makes it easier to go and immediately hunt drones for parts for T2 CPU extenders, but you may have other plans :)

(If there is demand, I can upload a tier 1, level 5 version as a separate blueprint).

Very fun craft. I'm finally trying to upgrade it, but it seems like shields are marked inside, and they appear to need to be on the outside. Having trouble finding a good spot with the extra turrets and I'm assuming the P-tank needs to be inside where the 'S' is marked.

Would love to have a level 5 version of this as well.

I would like to see the lvl 5 version so I can upgrade as I go.
