Description
Ika did a fantastic job on the weapons in his mod NWDM, but the NPC faction he created for the mod and various other NPCs added by his mod are incredibly overpowered. I've watched Cat-Lon get his ass beat by a half naked dude with a pick axe. This mod is an add on that aims to fix that.

Many of the NPCs added from NWDM were overpowered. their stats have been brought to a more reasonable level. They are still strong, but won't wipe a whole team of Cat-Lons.

Triangle bandits have been adjusted. The low level ones remain much the same but have had their gear actually buffed with 10% more chance they wont have prototype gear. All other triangle bandits have been brought down to more reasonable levels. with the mid level ones being around 30-40, and the high level area ones being around 60-70.

Triangle bandit bosses have also been adjusted as some of them had stupid stat numbers in the 150s similar to some of the other NPCs I've altered already. They've been brought down to more reasonable levels, but they will still be pretty strong and hard to beat even with an end game squad.

Remember if you want to get rid of the triangle bandits entirely, Ika has a mod for that already.

BLUEPRINTS-

Chances of certain blueprints showing up in shops have been adjusted to be more likely in certain areas.

Shinobi theives have had a few extra blueprints added to their list of possible items for sale as it made more sense that they would have them than not. (kunai for example)

The Tech Hunter's Great Library -

If you are still struggling to find blueprints from this mod, I've made sure that all blueprints are available as possible items for the library's item pool.
Can't find that awesome weapon that would be the absolute coolest weapon for little timmy to use: Find it at Black Scratch.

@PL I'm going to assume that that mod doesn't include the triangle bandits and other npcs from NWDM but adds the weapons along with it's own others.. If that's the case i would think that the only changes you'd see from my changes would be the blueprints in shops. I'm really not sure though dude. If you do try them together I would suggest backing up your save first.

I'm using the Ultimate Weapons Pack by DrakeSaint since they said it would conflict if you have both.

Will it still work with this?

I'm using this. Seems okay to me. So thank you.

@UrShaikort Yeah it does. That's how I'm running mine at the moment.

Thanks for a balance patch! Will it work with the patch that removes Triangle Bandits?
White Rider  [author] Mar 18, 2020 @ 9:25am
Yes. If this is loaded before NWDM then NWDM will overwrite any of these changes. This needs to be loaded after NWDM to take effect.

To be clear, not assuming anything, this mod is loaded after NWDM, correct? :cozysottr:

@Thundercraft Correct, it's a patch mod. I've added NWDM as a required mod on the right now.
This was the first mod I've ever made so i never even realised I could tag another mod as required.

Yeah I love NWDM but the NPCs were just so over-tuned it was a bit silly. I personally still don't use the triangle bandits. I have the mod to remove them from the game entirely, but I figured if I am going to tune down the other NPCs I may as well tune the TB down too.

In the end, I think I'm pretty happy with the result. The NPCs now feel a lot more in line with other bosses. Some of the early(ish) game NPCs are now at a reasonable difficulty, and the late game bosses will still provide a good challenge without needing several 100 stat characters to take down.
