Yo dawg, I heard you like Empire: Total War, so we put Empire in your Empire so you can Empire while you Empire!

Fusiliers are a vanilla-balanced hybrid infantry unit based on the line infantry of the late 17th and early 18th century- a hypothetical look into the future of Imperial troops. They can be recruited for 750 gold, requiring both a level 3 barracks and a gunsmith of any tier. They benefit from red line skills for both melee and ranged troops.

They fall between regular infantry and dedicated skirmishers as stats go. Fusiliers are skilled in melee, reload quickly, and hit just as hard as regular handgunners. With bayonets, they can defend against cavalry charges and enjoy some anti-large; their charges are also potent. However, they're less accurate than dedicated skirmishers and scarcely armored.

Update log:

3/8/22: Balance and model revamp. Removed plug bayonets/according ability, completely redid body, introduced socket bayonets. Unit is now 90 men (from 120); upped melee stats accordingly.

Well, can u make a mod that give regular handgunner have bayonet?
Cause my IQ is so low, I couldn't learn how modding tools work :(

did you make and then later delete a mod that added "colonial infantry" or something along those lines, with khaki/tan outfits and dark green armor to look like ww1/ww2 commonwealth infantry?
or am i thinking of another modder, if you did make it, could you reupload, if you didnt but know/remember what mod im talking about, could you point me to the creator pls? thank you very much

The Fusiliers stand with their swords out all the time and then switch to their guns for half a second to shoot, then revert back. Is this intentional or a bug?
