The Roman Republic - Brutus

Description
Adds the Roman Republic, led by the legendary first consul, Lucius Junius Brutus.

Requires Brave New World and Gods & Kings

UA: The Latin League - City-State Influence increases 50% faster and decreases 50% slower. Food, Culture, and Faith from friendly City-States increased by 25%.

UU: Adsidui (Swordsman Replacement) - The Adsidui are more powerful than the Swordsman, start with the Formation I promotion, and cost no Iron to produce.

UU: Equites (Chariot Archer Replacement) - A Melee unit that does not suffer from rough terrain penalties. Can move after attacking and does not require Horses to produce. Costs no Maintenance.

Brutus is a legendary figure in Roman history, being the first consul of the Roman Republic in 509 BCE, directly after the playing an important role in the Expulsion of the Kings. This version of Rome reflects the earliest days of Rome, when it was a single city on the Italian Peninsula. Therefore, it is not geared to rapid expansion, but diplomacy and growth. With early and inexpensive Unique Units, Rome should be able forge strong relations with nearby city-states and win early battles.

chariot archer is the best early unit in the game, the frigate before Renaissance Era, replacing it with a melee unit will greatly reduce the civ strength. would you consider changing the UU's combat type? btw interesting mod.
