Description
Sometimes it may seem like you'll need two gels in one place. Bounce and portal your way to the exit.

I am happy that I was able to do something with conversion gel in what I feel is a (relatively) unique way, but this puzzle is a bit of a mess mostly due to the fact that gels are finicky. It's a lot better than it once was, and I tried to suppress methods of breaking the chamber, but I know at least a few are still present, so, uh, please don't try to break the chamber. Every surface that needs gel will be centered and well lit, including

There is a mechanic where if repulsion gel replaces conversion gel on a surface where a portal has already been placed, the portal will remain. I perceive this as a bug and so it is not meant to be used.

There is also less grating/glass than might be nice as to the game failed to load the chamber (although it would compile) due to an abundance of models otherwise. Watch your step!

Special thanks to SpielSatzFail and Libbybapa for advice/unintended solution discovery, and to SpielSatzFail for the recording of the intended solution.

ah ha see thats how i got the gel on the ceiling where the grate is across from the gel dropper but i did it with the other portal so the gel flew up to that spot. i didnt even think to do it that way. excellent

The double gel fling out of the angled panel is what I meant to access that pedestal button. At this point you've messed with this map enough that I think it would be fine for you to check the solution video to see what I mean, haha.

yeah i thought about it after i wrote the last comment. but isnt there a pedestal button up there to operate the bridge. how do you get to that?

Haha, I wouldn't stress too much about perfectly finding the intended; this map was my first (and only) conversion gel map and so I didn't do a superb job dividing what is and isn't intended. The purpose of that long surface is to be able to fling back to the gel source area; it can be accessed by double flinging a bomb directly upwards out of the angled panel.

well i definitely didnt get your intended solution. i didnt need to do much of anything but use a little conversion gel.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! That video is very funny, haha - the old me might have fainted upon seeing such a display. Up into the gel droppers' recess too - I don't even remember why that's there! Of course, this map is too old to realistically get an update, so I don't think it's worth cleaning this one up - a little fun fact is that there's so little grating (and preventative glass) because the standard puzzlemaker was inefficient enough to blow past its limits when trying to cover everything.

Had a lot of fun with this one. Solved it correctly, but whenever I play a map with white gel, I try to see how much paint I can get on the walls. Here is my very unintended solution with a stop at an unusual place (no cheats were used) ... https://youtu.be/qGiUYE4-deI
