This mod is a submod for MK 1212 campaign, I am not a dev nor part of the team and not endorsed.

So Hi everybody, before everything I want to thank Jake for his help and DET for his cooperation.

Lex Reformata is a submod for MK 1212, a mod I enjoy but find lacking an essential aspect of the medieval era which is law. As a professional in the legal field, I think that a society without law isn’t a society at all that’s why there is a saying "Ubi societas Ubi Ius" which means where there is a society there is law.

Don’t worry this mod isn’t a law lesson, in fact, I did plenty of research and had access to some university studies, thanks to my former teachers. I hope to add a really good challenge as well as some role play aspects, keep in mind that the mod isn't strictly historical because I found out it would be too much of a history lesson and not a Total War experience.
The mod is subdivided into 4 themes:

Commercial law, Civil law ,Criminal law , and islamic sharia

All law aspects are nearly finished , also some "fun" a la paradox events were added for immersion.

Keep in mind that the historicity of the content was modified or extended for some dates to correspond and adapt with the mod. The aim is to bring enjoyment and new experiences, not to serve as a history lesson.

the law content consists of adding events (some with choices others with dilemmas and others just as information).

==> Curia regis system implemented for ; England & France


Curia regis system is constitued in different political events that interacts with the player's choice and with a final event that constitute the final politic orientation of your kingdom.
you could choose differently during the events it's the final event that "matters" because it will be the last , the curia regis system is history based with plenty of liberties to let you enjoy your RP.
normally it's save compatible even though you should restart a campaign if you have troubles/bugs tell me.

Majliss Al shura is exactly like the curia regis it's constitued in different political events that interacts with the player's choice and with a final event that constitute the final politic orientation of your Emirate/sultanate/Caliphate , it has it's own particularuty + each faction has it's own muslim particularities that's why eery faction is modded with similar mechanism but unique features.


Nb : i suggest starting a new game to avoid the events "spams" , due to some regional events the fact that if you continue your campaign at turn 100 and own these regions or so you will get practically spammed and it will kill a little bit the Rp/immersion but if it doesn't bother you then okay
