Basic Feature Rundown:
  • Garry's Mod QoL: c_arm support on every weapon, some weapons utilize player weapon colours
  • Weapon retain their unique Halo attributes (weapon charged attacks, melee ability, etc.)
  • Energy weapons actually have heat & battery systems
  • All weapons are balanced around Half-Life 2 NPC stats, and the Draconic Base scales with the Half-Life 2 difficulty.
  • Distant sound effects, compatible with Source's digital sound processing system.
  • Lightweight on server performance

@Zafkiel I've attempted a hotfix for this issue. I believe the problem was that I was using local values for the SWEP code instead of code that could be overwritten per-SWEP. Let me know if it persists.

I'll have to look into this more carefully, it is possible an update messed with something, because nobody else has reported this issue in the few months that the sight code rewrite has existed

I have only Draconic, Draconic Rebirth, and Draconic UNSC Weapons.

It is STILL happening whenever multiple people equip a Draconic SWEP.

I have purged all other addons from my files. Everything is basically a vanilla Gmod installation and it's still happening.

What the fuck is going on? Is it because of the GMOD update?

From our investigation, it's only occuring when multiple people have a Draconic SWEP equipped.

Are there any addons you might know of that could cause it to happen?

You may have another addon trying to constantly adjust the players' FOV while they have a SWEP equipped, and that new value is not the players' desired FOV.

Hey Vuthakral, Our weapons seem to be having an incredibly obnoxious issue atm where their FOV keeps "strobing" in and out of its current position. It's as if an FOV slider is being set to a high value, then back to its default value over and over again.

Could I add you on discord to discuss this bug and see if it's just something on our server's end or an issue w the addon itself?
