HUBRO C70 - Giant VTOL (NOT MP RECOMMENDED)

Description
The Hubro Colossus 70 is the largest of the Hubro VTOL series with its 50 meters wingspan and 45 meters length. It can act as a mobile base of operations with room for a large crew and lots of cargo. You can even dock an E11 fighter in the docking bay at the top floor. The C70 has a range of over 250km and top speed of 240 knots. It features 12 cabins with beds for 18 crew and passengers. Crew comfort on long voyages is no problem with several showers, a gym and a large mess hall and recreational area.

Startup:
The aircraft will automatically drive out of the hangar to extend its wings
Go the bridge of the aircraft
At the center console, turn the 3 keys. First “Main Power”, then “Engine Power” and “Bridge Power”
Sit down in the pilot seat
Press the “Engines ON” button on you right console
Wait for the left center screen to say “Engines stable”
Toggle off the “Ground Brake” button on your left console. This acts as a parking brake.
You are now ready to lift off

Useful info:

Press 3 to toggle on “Hold Full Speed”. So you don’t need to constantly hold W to go forwards.

Remember to gain some altitude before engaging the autopilot.

When enabling the Altitude Hold, input an altitude on the number pad on you right side console first. Then press the Altitude Hold on the right center screen.

The lights in the cargo bay and general interior lights can be turned off.

When docking an E11 fighter to the C70, start by opening the roof on the C70. Have the landing gear on the E11 lowered. The landing gear will fit in the holes on the floor marked green. It will attach itself using the electrical connectors at the back and the fuel connectors on the middle.
Remember that you can only open the canopy on the E11 when the roof of the C70 is open.

When the E11 is docked, it will be automatically refueled and recharged by the C70.

There are magnets on the floor of the cargo bay to hold down cargo when flying.

In the cargo bay, there’s a main winch with a small connector on it, and two mag all. There’s also a frame with both small connectors and electrical connectors to pick up 9x9x24 containers.

At the rear of the cargo bay there’s a smaller floor hatch which you can use to lower the fuel hose or the harnesses.

All alarms can be muted.

On the center console of the bridge you will se a throttle lever. This controls how many RPS the engines will operate on. The standard is 50, but you can increase it in order to lift heavy cargo. But remember that having to much RPS will cause instability.

On the right side console of the pilot seat, there’s a button to fire illumination flares. It will fire one flare towards the ground each to you press it. It has a total of 16 flares.

The generator engines will start when the main engines are on, or whenever the battery drops below 90%. They can be manually toggled on/off with a button at the center console.

The aircraft has one main fuel tank and one fuel tank at each engine unit (4 engine units). When the engine tanks are almost drained, they will start take fuel from the main fuel tank.

To use the escape pods, open the hatch and sit down in the seat. Close the hatch with the button on you left. Press “Launch”. The pod will sink in water, so exit as soon as you hit the ocean surface.

If the main engines aren’t on and the power drops below 90%, the generator engines will automatically start.
