Description
This is a HP tracker for D&D, which also creates a hovering HP bar over the character's figurine.

Can be used by Players or DMs.

To use, first claim the tracker, so that only you and the GM can see the numbers on it, then simply drop the figurine on top of the tracker and it will pair itself with it.
> Claims are done by seat color, not by player! <

When changing your HP or Temporary HP, you can simply type "-" or "+" followed by a number to increase or decrease the current HP by that much.
For example: if you currently have 20/50 HP, and you type +5 on the "Current" box, your HP will change to 25/50

On the back of the tracker there are some settings that you can change:
  • Triggers: A list of object types that will get paired with the tracker. Toggle on the type of object that you want to use, and preferably turn the others off. This is here so that the link doesn't keep changing whenever the tracker hits a random object. Should work on all kinds of figurines by default.

  • Unclaim: Resets the owner of this tracker, so that someone else may claim it. Does not reset other settings.

  • Recolor Model: Leftover code from the first version of this tool that I left just in case. If this option is on, and you recolor the tracker, the figurine will change colors accordingly. This was firstly added because most figurines only change the color of their base platform when tinted, and I was using it like that on my game.

  • Show HP Bar: Determines whether you want an HP bar to show over the figurine or not.

  • Show TempHP Bar: Determines whether you want a Temporary HP bar to show over the normal HP bar or not.

  • Change Colors: Toggles the Bar Colors menu on or off.

  • Bar Colors: Determines what color each bar should have. Can set HP as having different colors at 50% and at 25%. Can set all 3 options to the same color if the changing colors option is not desired. Colors to be provided in hex values.

  • Show HP in Bar: Determines whether or not the HP numbers should be displayed on the bar itself. Might show it upside-down on some figurines due to the way they're imported. Temporary HP will not be shown on the bar.

  • Bar Height: Determines how far away from the base the HP bar is located. Change the number if you feel it's too close or too far from your figurine.

  • Bar Rotation: Determines which way the bar is facing, letting you place the bar at any angle you want.

  • Bar Offset: Lets you change where the bar is located horizontally, in case you want the bar to appear behind the character or something similar.

  • Visibility: Toggle the colors on or off to make the bar visible to those players. Good if you want to only make the bar visible to yourself, or only to certain players.

Not currently, and it's not really planned to add that functionality

Is there anyway to track multiple bars? I know this is designed for D&D but I use mana/spell point variants in my game. And I would love to have a separate bar for mana :)

@liyarin, ya juts need to put them behind a dm screen

Yet another update, there is now a Temporary HP bar that you can toggle and change color.

Also, Temporary HP now works the same way as the Current HP, and if you remove more Temporary HP than there is currently available, the excess will be removed from the Current HP.

Make sure that your tracker says v2.3 if you want to use the latest version.

@GameWizard13 They mean on the tracker itself, not the ones above the mini's. Even though they're trying to hide the tracker, numbers are still visible behind the GM screen.

@Rhaia I just uploaded a "fix", now a player has to claim a tracker before using it, after which all the options on the tracker should only be visible by that player and the GM. Hopefully this is a decent workaround that issue.
For hiding the actual bars themselves, refer to what GameWizard13 said.

@Liyarin thanks! we were also trying the Zone > Hidden boxes but the numbers still popped up through it and other players could see the hp numbers, i think the dm is the one who has a fog of war and we could see through it and also see the monsters health and stuff, i really appreciate your help, there arent a lot of cool health tracker mods, this is def one of my favorites

@Rhaia This was meant to be used by players, so I didn't test it on the DM side, but I know what's happening, and I can throw up a fix soon (tm)

You can see the text numbers on the tracker board itself so other players can just look, it also shows through fog of war and cant seem to be hidden, so we can just see our dms monster health and we cant seem to figure out how to make it so no one else can see what your health is currently at on the little black tracker itself
