Mod Summary:

Orbis Terrarum II is the sequel mod and follow up to 2018's Orbis Terrarum. The goal of this mod is to bring a modern look to Rome II and bring it in line with the likes of Total War: Attila and Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia. The mod features environments custom edited and sourced from Rome II, Attila, and Thrones of Britannia. Over time more environments will be added and custom crafted to expand the diversity of Rome II's battles.

Future Plans:

This mod will be updated on (I hope) a weekly basis with new features. Some items will take more time and this extensions could occur.

Performance:

This mod pushes Rome II's visuals to the near limit. If you use max settings, be sure you have a more recent GPU otherwise you will run into occasions where Graphical Memory will run low. I have only noticed this on large city battles with multiple effects on the map. This seems to happen mostly on Winter maps since the game adds another post-processing layer over the terrain. Other than that, this mod has been optimized and will continue to be optimized to run close to Vanilla Extreme settings performance

Compatibility:

This mod is compatible with ALL mods that do not alter the environment and terrain textures. This mod is meant to replace Flora HD and my previous environment mods. You technically can fuse my environment mods by having both active but the effects will vary based on your taste in lighting. It cannot be used alongside Flora HD.

YES, THIS MOD IS COMPATIBLE WITH DIVIDE ET IMPERA. <3

UPDATE TO PERMISSIONS POLICY: As time has gone on, I have seen the ever increasing presence of donations and patreons associated with Total War Modding. I have a personal issue with the idea of linking any type of monetary function with modding and feel it is best to have the two entirely separate. Even donating to authors for their work is too near the chance of modders locking content behind paywalls and separating paid users from unpaid ones. It is for this reason that any mod page which links or has a donation system associated with it will have to speak to me directly and ask for permission. Individual modders who wish to use these assets should shoot me a message and Ill likely give permission. Mod teams will need to discuss the use of my assets with me.

The pre-emperor edition lighting is a weird change that made me uninstall the mod. I hate the purple filter.

I`m not sure if this mod does affect it, but:
On the campaign map, the fog of war looks really bad on my system. its notfog, its like a cheap layer of transparent white. I run an up to date gaming rig, so shouldnt´t be a hardware issue. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

@Overrider with graphical mods it should not matter if it is below or top of the main mod, since they do not touch any game play files within the pack file only weather and terrain/building textures. Orbis Aqua is above this mod to overwrite the water textures in this mod.

usually graphic mods should load last, IE put at the bottom bellow main mod. Here it says to load it above? Which is true?
