USSF Barrage

The Barrage is the combat workhorse of a USSF Expeditionary Fleet. Built with advanced inertial dampening tech in the armored cockpit, this fighter is built for quick lateral movement, as well as overwhelming acceleration forward and back.

While she may not have a lot of armor, if the shield goes down she can take a fair amount of hard hits as she tactically retreats, only to recharge and go back in to finish the job.

She also has an atmospheric flight mode, generally only useful for straight line scouting to save on fuel, that will be immediately cancelled by the red alert function.
