Currently the mod is cosmetic only as I work to add bullet geometry.

To use, find a compatible gun and the shield will be available under Laser/IR slot

ive had bullets hit my bipod and save my life so i dont know if thats useful info for you for making this actually work

shame. perhaps i will make a rifle shield myself. If i deem it worthy enough then i will gladly release it on the workshop, where anyone can use it in their games, and i wouldn't mind if a few people took my mod to improve it or make something of their own with its template. The more diversity the better, adds to the amount of fun you can have.

Sadly it doesnt seem possible to do a bullet collision for all guns universal, so i ditched it as it wasnt what i wished
