This changes the turns per year to 4. Generals and Agents will age 1/4 as fast. Also adds seasonal effects to the main campaign and Augustus campaign.

Not compatible with Turn Per Year Mods, All Factions Unlocked Mod or other startpos mods.
Might be compatible with Radious, if this mod loads first. His mod sets it at 2 turns per year.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH DEI (DIVIDE ET IMPERA)

Won't change current save games TPY number. To learn how to edit your own save game turns per year, see this tutorial[www.twcenter.net].

oh my god how many stupid people gathered in the comments. Normal mod - if you have an IQ like a frying pan - go to the mercenaries

Unfortunately this mod worked the opposite way for my new game. Each end turn progressed the time by one year, although each year was different season. Consequently all characters aged by one year each end of turn :(

I don't like this mod. What I needed is just make my generals age slowly. Yeah, 4 seasons concept is okay, but execution is not the best imo. Why are all region have the same effect? I mean, in some regions it's basically the summer for whole year around, and some regions have different conditions, but the main issue is that the effect we get is just less or more food (grain) depending on the season, which is kinda makes sense but actually doesn't. Grain can be stored all year around, why is that when it's autumn I got plenty+++ food, but a few moths later I have a starving population with starving+++ food? Grain could be stored, but this mod doesn't make it work or I don't get it how to use it

Playing Rome 2 grand campaign after a long time. This was among my favorite mods, but was not working for me this time.

Like GamerDaGreat says, if I set it to #1 priority in mod manager, now it works.

@GamerDaGreat 4 turns=4 years in vanilla game. There is no 1/4 year addition every turn or something like that. It is only simulated seasonal effect and nothing more. You start 272bc summer, 271bc autum, 270bc winter, 269bc spring, 268bc summer and so on. With your logic the next year after 270 winter will be 268 spring but that can t be.

Continuing my previous comment, settin this mod at highest priority seems to fix the problem

First of all: in vanilla is one year and one season per turn. So that means: first turn, first year, summer. Second turn, second year, autum. Third turn, third year, winder. Fourth turn, fourth year, spring and so on.

That means, every fourth turn, four years have passed but also one more because of that 1/4 of a year every turn. So 4 turns = 5 years

So, for a newborn to come to its 16th year of life, it takes 12 turns (if my math is correct). That means 12 individual chances (i supose it is throu RNG mechanic) for it to die.

With this mod, every year is 4 turns (1 turn per season). That mean, for a baby to come to the 16th year of its life, it now takes 64 turns. That is 64 indivitual chances for it to die.

I played a campain with Macedon with no problem, but i also played a campain with Rome and everything just dies.
