Welcome to the Undead Horse Mount Mod workshop page. To start off, the assets contained within this mod, are not mine. The fully completed Undead Horse mesh that you will soon find yourself riding on was completed by Funcom's artists. All the credit for the model goes to them.

For x,y,z reasons, this completed asset was cut from the vanilla game. However, as Funcom often does, they made this asset available for modders to use via the Dev Kit (as they have done with lots of unreleased assets).


The newest version of the Undead Horse Mounts mod (UHM) adds 8 Undead Horses in the form of a "normal" Undead Horse, 5 Wight Horses that come in Green, Red, Yellow, Grey, and Blue, and two Ghost Horses. It also includes a Ghost Camel as well. All 9 mounts have slightly elevated stats above Vanilla mounts. That means they run faster, have more health, do more combat damage, have more stamina, and etc. None of those things are a significant amount as I didn't want to make Vanilla horses redundant. But as it takes more effort to earn the Undead mounts, I wanted to give them small bonuses.

In addition, the Undead mounts all have special bonuses with how they attack. The Undead Horse does disease, Green does poison, Red does bleed, Yellow does acidic, Grey does sunder, and Blue does spectral. The Ghost Horses don't have anything special with their attack, however they offer the ability to clear corruption and will slowly heal those closely around it. All 9 horses mounts require saddles, and this is because I felt this gives players more choice and control over how they want their horses to gain status bonuses. Other saddle options may be found in my other mod, Mount Combat Restored. There are also 4 Ghost Horse Saddles and 3 Camel Saddles.

One last note is that I have taken the Undead Horse model and altered it so that it works better with saddles. There is less clipping, and the tail will hide when its supposed to based on the saddle.

TLDR Highlights of the Mod

• 9 Mount Options, each with their own unique quality to them.
  
• Mounts Include: 8 Horses in the form of the base Undead model. There are Wight Horses that come in colors of Green, Red, Yellow, Grey, and Blue. Finally, there are 2 Ghost Horses and 1 Ghost Camel.
  
• 4 Ghost Horse Saddles and 3 Ghost Camel Saddles

The Undead Mounts are learned via the base game Sorcery system. Its the same feat as where you learn the Shallow Grave.

A new crafting station is unlocked called the Reanimation Circle. This is used to Reanimate dead horses into their final form. Players will need to acquire Horse or Camel corpses in order to Reanimate them. They may do so by killing Horses or Camels placed by players, or use the Reanimation Circle to sacrifice a not yet placed Horse or Camel.


The Undead Mounts have a diet which can be viewed like any other pet or mount. They accept Ash, Coal, Human Flesh, Putrid Meat, Blood, Demon Blood, Shadespiced Rotten Meat, Black Lotus Flower, Brimstone, and Abysmal Flesh.
